Try using butter ghee or coconut oil rather than vegetable / seed oils if you can.

You could reduce your carb intake by getting rid of the fried potato and chapati for a start. Smaller portions of rice or substitute with cauliflower rice. Tom

Hi, I could still do with loosing a few lbs but have said goodbye to nearly 7 stone so far, which feels good. Trying concentrate now on getting fitter and not letting the diet (low-carb) slip up too much. Tom

I'm sure you'll do well. I've lost around 90-100lbs by gradual adoption of low carb. Would second the idea to get sufficient protein and not add extra butter for the sake of it. Oh, and do some resistance training if you can.
