To be honest, you shouldn't overthink this now, let it go. It'll not make a difference in the long run if you're logging daily and following your set goals. Cheer up! :)

Are we whinging that we have too much food available? If yes, remember Salvation army or other charities, who will humbly take your guilt away. Thanksgiving, Christmas or any other social occasion should not be blamed for overeating, if disciplined enough, these special days should have extra calories allotment already…

I wish I would be able to eat 3000 calories/day soon. This thread is full of motivation. I found one amazing fact about bulking. When I was losing weight, underestimating calories was a real temptation and I am sure it is true about bulking as well where I try to overestimate calories. Funny how brain works! :D

This piece of equipment is a beauty, love to see imagination and craftsmanship.

Can you suggest a better way? I mean there should be one and how that (use of BIA) disapproves the conclusion? If I have to find a flaw in this study, I would say its sample size, which is too small. Every study has a flaw but that does not mean every study is useless. The effort (research) that is required to write up one…

A good journal article always present with its own limitations. This study provides a different perspective on an issue which indicates otherwise. I am impressed with the clear structure of the this article and it is easy to understand. Whether your comment was on the quality of the article or its structure is not clear.…

@usmcmp @bellaa_x0 Please have a look at this article, if contraindications do not bother. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC155510/

How is Water Stored in the Body? https://www.unm.edu/~lkravitz/Article%20folder/WaterUNM.html How water is lost from the body? Water is lost in the urine (1500 ml), in the stools (100 ml), in sweat and evaporation from the respiratory tract (900 ml) as a typical example. http://www.zuniv.net/physiology/book/chapter24.html…

I did a thorough research on creatine before starting on it, I would like to add that information to this thread, need some time. and yes, I was serious, really! Common sense is not better than science.
-
@usmcmp You lift heavy, that inspires many like me. Do you have any post linked with bulking, I would love to read since you compete and have knowledge to share. It is a serious request.
-
Thanks for this link, I will read it.

The only concern that I had before starting with creatine was caffeine content. I had a side effect of burning sensation, in my whole body at the very first time but after a through research it was found to be normal when first starting on it. Nothing to worry about if intake is not insane, excess of everything is bad,…

When taken by mouth in high doses, creatine is POSSIBLY UNSAFE. There is some concern that it could harm the kidney, liver, or heart function. However, a connection between high doses and these negative effects has not been proven. From your source.

OP, on a related topic, overconsumption of protein, I have come across this website, authentic 100%. Not sure if the information shared is backed up by legit research. But worth a read. http://www.ausport.gov.au/ais/nutrition/factsheets/body_size_and_shape/increasing_muscle_mass

If you can not find a scientific reference to back up your comment, then this comment should better be erased, forever! ;)

You're kidding right? Overthinking? MFP community has over time kicked non-sense out of common sense and believe in claims backed by science. It is not Facebook, it is a real deal.
-
Good on you! But regular users like me would get lost without logging, MFP app without calorie count option and MFP community without CICO logic, hmm, don't know about that! :/
-
Thumbs up! Keep it up, well done!

Thanks!

I'm doing HIIT programs for almost 2 years and weight loss is pretty good with them. Now onto first bulk after losing 9 kg. I would really appreciate side by side pictures with face. Last picture seems shady and two of them are without face. It is doable, people have done it before, so I completely agree with OP.

I have a similar goal of gaining 0.5 kg/week and MFP app gave me 2700 calories/day. @Ben2055 Just curious? How did you decide 4 months bulking period? Not 3 or 5? I mean I just want to know, may it help me as well. @arditarose @ndj1979 guys your feedback would be appreciated as well. Thank you!

All above highlighted lines are in fact great points! I'm also among those people like you, who have been benefitted from MFP community. MFP website will become irrelevant without these helpful people, contributing so much to the boards and giving their precious time for newbies, no one can take it away from them. Because…

I hope I will get your autograph one day or at least a selfie with you, for my Facebook profile picture. Hope!

Will Ferrell? I'm a big fan. Welcome to the MFP community, Sir! I'm rubbing shoulders with the celebrities now, how lucky am I?
-
Actually, just the opposite. Why wasting your precious time and energy on someone when they simply do not care. I see a lot of threads starting with or have this word in the topic, HELP! So those people deserve this kind of effort and help. I hope you 'Gotcha' this time.

I love Winnie the Pooh! Think, think, think...hilarious!

My point was that you can put seat belts in the car but can't force the drivers to use it, drunk driving is prohibited but still you can't stop this practice, you can share all the good information regarding nutrition, but you can't force people to follow it, if they are simply not interested. Just to make my replies…
