haha I've learned don't go grocery shopping on a empty stomach, I'd ended buy more than I need. Especially junk foods which I ended up not even eat them. Good thing I got kids so they helps with it. lol

At least you realize and admits to it, now you gotta put some action and don't waste your gym membership!

At 250lbs and 2200 calories/day should put you in a deficit to loss weight, are you working out? also how are you calculate your calories? do you count everything including the oil, seasoning?

IG models are the worst of following on personal image/fitness goals, don't get into the tumbler of programs. Find what you enjoy the most of, and stick to it. The basics usually the less glorious but works the best, when one IG post says you get best result for workout 5 days ago but in reality you can only do 3, you…

I agree it can be tough sometimes, the 80/20 rule is a good way to look at it, if 80% of your meals are within what you suppose to eat, then that 20% of social eating and fun won't hurt you.

Normally on holidays I don't track, I don't suggest tracking, however, I do push my meal to one big one with family and friends, so I'd have a very light breakfast and drink plenty of water through the day till dinner time. If i have time I will even go for a workout, just to get body moving since holidays sometime can be…

but they're the best foods! Good for the soul!! hahaha as long that's not every single meal you have it'd be fine.
-
One thing I do to prevent that is I buy a gallon of water jog and I will drink it through the day, and before I go out to eat sometimes which helps to keep me fuller than normal so I don't ended up over eat. haha little trick I use often.
-
That's a tough one, hope you get help you need soon, maybe find something that's enjoyable for you to focus on and do more of it? :|
-
you can always go with weekly average instead of daily, which you can lower 4-5 days so on weekends you can enjoy more, as long as you are not gaining weight then you should be fine.
-
I believe disciplined eating is over rated! If you keep all things balanced, it should be ok.
-
haha as long as you're happy and not getting over board, nothing wrong with few sweets and goodies in our tummy from time to time.
-
Those are awesome!! also I like air fryer too

I read on treadmills or bicycle machines in the gym, I find that's actually a good time to read while listening to some soft music, so if you have access to that, it's great way to get your exercise in, burn some calories while get your reading done. As far as cooking, haha no fix on that, I like to cook so it's not a…

I recommend find a friend, family member to be on the journey with you, sometimes we can't motivate ourselves enough we have to ask for help, and keep each other motivated is easier than try to motivate ourselves

I think we're our worse enemy at times, that's great progress and it takes time, you're right and at the end you win either way, stick to it and don't give up, it's all up hill from here on out, tough road to get to the top but reward is totally worth it.
-
That is a good one, and you're right, a lot of people starting off feeling intimidated and fearful to step into an environment they aren't used to, especially for the ladies. I always tell those who started in the gym to just put on a temporary blind fold, headphones on and knowing you doing it for you, and you can't…

SO awesome to see, couples who get fit together stays together!
-
haha guess the definition of normal is different from person to person.
-
yeah sounds like you have enough food, i'd say try to push your meals to later of the day, have breakfast, have lunch but have your dinner close to 7 and see if that makes a difference.

Diet break is good when you feel you needed one, nothing wrong with get off the tracking devices and put away your food scale away for a week then get back on track. the important about about diet break, cheat day, cheat meal is that don't go crazy, its not a field day for all you can eat, it's more enjoy life eat like a…

Cod fish or tilapia, grilled/baked chicken breast, egg, egg whites with cinnamon instead of salt, lean steak (top sirloin) yogurt or protein ice cream (halo top). protein bars with low carbs options.
-
I don’t like to use % to set up your daily macros. Total calorie per day is fine but to break it down, I recommend go with .9-1g of protein per lbs of body weight, have 30% of your total daily calories from fat which at your number should be around 50g. Then rest of the calories from carbohydrates. Ask don’t drink your…

That’s exactly what I was thinking, in person to make sure you use correct form and exercises then the rest can be done remotely and is far more effective cause you can ask questions anytime about diet or exercise. Sometimes that time you spend in person training may not be enough to get all your questions answered, due to…

Right, it depends on how dependent the client is and how much knowledge the train has shared with the client. And how comfortable she’s with her workouts. Many trainers I’ve see doesn’t explain the whys of dos and donts.
-
Yes, it’s definitely going to be less expensive and more sustainable. Plus the client will have access to help 24/7 instead of only during those training hours in person. I think it’s more helpful that way.
