My SO's parent's church sent me a care package today--lots of snacks like candies and pretzels and stuff, which isn't too hard to ignore, but they also sent three little sugar cookies (like 1.5 inch diameter) and a bag of homemade caramel corn puffs or something similar to that, and they are SO GOOD.

My boyfriend recently got me a bunch of little Ghiradelli chocolate squares, dark chocolate with salted caramel, so I've been using those in breakfast--nonfat plain Greek yogurt, one Ghiradelli square broken up into it, pomegranate seeds, brown sugar. It's absolutely amazing! When I don't have chocolate, it's pretty much…

Zucchini pizza boats and little stacks of tomato, smoked salmon, and mozzarella!
-
Sunday brunch-- a bowl of oatmeal cooked in vanilla almond milk topped with apples and candied pecans. (Seriously, I could eat the apple/candied pecan combo on anything ever, it's glorious.)
-
I made a salad for part of dinner today! (The other half of dinner is...going to be whatever I scrounge up at a dining hall.) Kale with smoked salmon, apple, and candied pecans; no dressing.

Was really craving mozzarella today so dinner: Half a whole wheat pita with a tbsp of pesto, ~1 oz mozzarella, a few slices of tomato! Plus a link of spicy italian chicken sausage and a Gala apple.
-
"Homemade" Ramen (miso, soy sauce, hot water) with rice noodles and a poached egg! Also half a gala apple.

Dinner (half a whole wheat pita with jalapeno cilantro hummus, chickpea and black bean salad, cucumber salad) and a snack (pepper jack cheese, strawberries, half a Gala apple)!

Saturday is always brunch day! Everything is pretty self-explanatory I think. The smoothie has apple, mango, banana, spinach, and agave, I think, and is just blended with ice and water.

5'5" here. At 135 lbs, I wore a size 4-6, occasionally 2 depending on the store (most notably I have two pairs of express jean shorts in size 4 that I could put on and take off without unbuttoning). Now at 130, not much change in size yet.

At Disneyland for the day! The Greek salad was mine. Chicken was the boyfriend's.

Hello! College student here. I also don't have access to a kitchen, but between myself and my boyfriend we've accumulated cheap small appliances (from target, mostly!), so we have a blender, a small rice cooker, a crockpot, a toaster oven, and a small egg cooker in addition to a microwave and fridge. We also have a meal…

The prettier half of my dinner--plain Greek yogurt with half a banana and blueberry chia buckwheat muesli! The other half was a roasted pepper stuffed with ground turkey and rice which, while super tasty, was not as nice to look at :P

@auddii, you didn't misread! I did put the shredded chicken back in, but I ended up not serving it with any excess sauce (for myself, anyway, since it was a little strong for me and I wasn't eating it with rice). I think I got a decent idea of logging it this time, but I'll keep the cornstarch idea in mind for next time :)

@jenmsu83, it's awesome, I would definitely recommend it! No, the liquid didn't thicken up for me, and the chicken tasted so good anyway that I wasn't worried about needing more sauce. I really like someone else's idea about logging one serving of each of the liquid ingredients, so I went with that. Thanks, and I hope you…
-
@Francl27, Ooh adding one serving of the liquids instead of discounting it entirely is a great idea, I'll add that in. Thanks!
-
@rankinsect, Thank you for the input! Unfortunately I didn't weigh the liquid ingredients since I was using a measuring cup, but after pouring it back into the measuring cup it doesn't look like the overall liquid amount went down much, if at all, so I think I will just not log the calories and just stay a little under for…

Quickly glanced through and didn't see this recipe posted yet, so: Crockput Honey Sesame Chicken I just made this today and it's so good! Pretty quick for crockpot, too, since it's cooked for 4 hours total at low heat. My boyfriend, who is pretty picky (doesn't like soy sauce, garlic, ketchup, or dark meat, all of which…

Dinner! Second half of the Trader Joe's Roasted Butternut Squash, Red Quinoa, and Wheatberry Salad (no dressing), half of a pita (corner stolen by boyfriend before I could take a picture), and shredded Honey Sesame chicken.

Hello! I'm pretty new to MFP and just came across this thread. Will probably spend ages going through it, I looove looking at food! To contribute, I picked up Trader Joe's Roasted Butternut Squash, Red Quinoa, and Wheatberry Salad for lunch. Ate about half the container (the rest will be part of dinner) without dressing.

Hello! Just got mfp and started logging food today, would love some friends (particularly with open food diaries? I love looking at food).
