I haven't been that weight in my adult life, but if my current pattern continues, I'd be a size 2/4 (US). I'm 5'8". I weighed in at 178.4 this morning and I'm wearing size 10 (US) pants.

    I'm 5'2 - or 'funsized'.

    When I was 135, I was around a UK size 10-12 :)

I was between a US8 when I was 135lbs at 5'10". Hip bones don't care how much you weigh.

I'm 5'4". At 136 I think I was a 6-ish in jeans. Dresses were most likely a 4 because I'm pear shaped. (WAS pear shaped).

5'6"/size 4 sometimes smaller depending upon the clothing brand or the cut of the clothes. The difference is a matter of muscle mass. The more dense the package, the smaller the package.

Also, in the U.S. sizing parameters change almost as frequently as the tv schedules. Consider that what was a size twelve in 1980 is smaller than the current size ten by about two inches in the waist. What was formerly a size 8 is now a size 4. The industry adjusts its standards every twenty or thirty years or so. The take away? Don't worry about the clothing size. Just focus on your own numbers/measurements/fitness standards.

OH! And, a size four in 1900 would be about a size quad 0 today!

5'3.5". When I was 135, I was a size 4-6 depending on the brand. I say 6 though because the US is notorious for vanity sizing.

5'7" and 135 lbs. In my closet I have things that range from size 4 - size 10 (US sizes) and size small to large--it all depends on the brand!

I'm 5'7.5", and It's been a while since I was 135. But back when I was, I wore a size 6. Interestingly, I got down as low as about 110 and still wore a size 6, maybe the occasional "big" size 4. I just have wide hips that aren't going to ever let me be smaller than a size 6. I like that I get to always be curvy, though, so it's all good.

    I'm 5'6'' and 135. I wear a US size 6 in most clothing, occasionally a size 4. Jeans I wear a 28. I'm pretty pear shaped so I wear a small in tops.

I'm 5'10" and was a UK size 8-10 (US 4-6) at 135lb a couple of years ago, but felt that was too skinny for my frame.

135? I was a kid. I hit 145 after 6 weeks of boot camp while not eating much of the horrible food, running three miles many days, plus marching everywhere. 145 is lower than I should go.

I have never been that small ever, but I'd guess at 5'8" and 135 I would be around size 4-6 as well.

At 5'8" and 166 I'm a true size 10. I'm currently a couple pounds up from there and wear mostly 10s but it has to be a brand that has certain cuts and such, so I say I'm 10-12.

5'5" here. At 135 lbs, I wore a size 4-6, occasionally 2 depending on the store (most notably I have two pairs of express jean shorts in size 4 that I could put on and take off without unbuttoning).

Now at 130, not much change in size yet.

5'7", 134 now. I just went shopping for new pants yesterday. I walked into Kohl's wearing Levi's size 12 US (from about 10ish years ago) that fit me fine. Bought a new pair of Levi's size 8 - fit is basically the same. There has been some serious vanity sizing going on.

    I am 5ft 7 about 142...7lbs but I wear a size 4. If I were to be 135 probably a size 2...I seem to go down a size every 8-10lbs now

    I'm 5'5" and a US 6 (sometimes 8, but usually 6) at 135. Okay, 137 at the moment, but still fitting in 6. :-)

Just wondering people's heights and sizes all at the same weight. I'm 5'9 and am a size 4-6

I currently weigh 134lbs (I was 149lbs when I started MFP, yay!!) I am 5'0" and in a size 3/4. My goal weight is 115lbs which will put me in a size 0/1.
  • This is neat if you want to see a variety of real people at different heights and weights:
