Wow, need to add a lot more vegetables into most of these above. My problem is that I eat pretty well and love to cook but then have these moments a few times a week whereby I simply lose the plot and eat all that is truly bad for me and pile it back on. This is a problem with my head, me thinks. Oh well, each day is a fresh start.
But whenever I have really lost weight is when I have loaded up on the fresh vegetables. Not cooked carrots or potatoes or bread or pasta. Drop those and you'll start dropping a lot of weight I promise. Replace with wholegrains. Good luck.

I'm in love with spices and meals under 15 minutes! Chicken in a blend of: turmeric, cumin, pepper, paprika, red chilli flakes, brown sugar, ginger and garlic.

Flavour packs a serious punch! B)

I'm not really sure why you would say that there need to be more vegetables in the pictures that people are posting, I see plenty of veggies, as well as other delicious things - I love seeing the cultural influences in the food that people eat, as well as all the yummy baked goods!

Also not sure why you feel compelled to give people advice on how to lose weight in this particular thread, this isn't a thread about losing weight, nor has anyone here expressed frustration at not being able to lose.

Lastly, if YOU are having trouble with achieving your goals, perhaps you should look at what you are eating, and remember that all that is required to lose weight is a calorie deficit. It has nothing to do with eating cooked carrots, potatoes, bread or pasta or not eating enough vegetables.

Note - I'm not discouraging people from eating a balanced, nutrient dense diet - just saying that this is not the thread for that discussion. Now can we get back to the Food Porn pics?! ;)

Crab cake bao and coconut beignets. Birthday cake cookie sandwich (the best cookie sandwich I have ever had!). London Fog cake. Chipotle, cheddar, green onion and black pepper scone (definitely one of the yummiest scones I've had to date). A yummy week indeed :)

Another quick and simple yet delish and dinner. Not sure if any of you noticed the trend with my cooking but dare I say it... its "paleo-ish" as in whole and unprocessed foods :)

    You bet I noticed!

A noticeable -and refreshing - absence of pasta, heavy cheese, desserts, pastries, and such.

I'm constantly striving to make my presentations as professional as yours.

One of my favourite dinners as of late. Sometime you just have to indulge :) We had this as our Thanksgiving dinner couple weeks ago. Well not your typical thanksgiving dinner is it but I bet any of you would take grassfed ribeye topped with onions and mushrooms with roasted butternut squash and cucumber tomato salad over turkey ha-ha

Now that's a Thanksgiving Dinner. I'd take that over turkey any time. I always look forward to your posts. Your dishes are superb. Love the presentation too. What's the red stuff? Cranberry? Beets?

@crazyravr Do you make your casava bread from the root or do you buy it already grated up. I did not know what it was and had to Google it, but I am gluten intolerant and always looking for good bread options. Looks yummyy, but is it a lot of work?
