I agree with 6502programmer...60 lbs. in 3 months is an unrealistic AND unhealthy goal. With proper nutrition and exercise, you'll lose more in the beginning due to water weight. I do both cardio and strength training and since I'm naturally muscular, I try to get eat a lot of protein. I eat carbs, but avoid anything white - no white pasta, rice,etc. All whole wheat products.…

I'm 5'6 - the before pic is 196 lbs (age 42) and the after is 160 lbs. last year (age 51). I've gained 15 lbs since then and am back on track having lost 5 lbs.
