Happy January 1st! I hope everyone had a great day. I did 3.5 miles today. It was a beautiful 50° and sunny! I am under my goal (not much to spare) and logged all my eats :-)

Hi All! I have been on MFP since Oct 2015. Said goodbye to 25 in 2015 and around 50 in 2016. When I first started, I had a goal of 185. I hope to get there in April/May, then I will evaluate. The past week I have not been the best on fitness or nutrition, so some lbs are trying to come back. I will be using this challenge…

The C9 line at Target has leggings that have the wide band at the top. They give me extra coverage with bending down.
-
This is vs last year - about 50lbs. I was already 25 down in the "before"
-
I am 5'9" and currently 199 :-) Started at 275 and have been at 1600 calories on average for the past 5 months and losing average 0.7 lbs a week. I don't feel the need to loose real fast as I want to be successful long term. My opinion is that 1200 is too restrictive.

You didn't give what your current level of fitness is, so I assume your ready to run. Just take it slow. WGAS what others think. Most will be happy for you and encouraged. Invest in good shoes and compression top and shorts, and you are good to go. One of my favorite memes

It's the low iron.

You may be trying to go too fast or too big of a stride. I try not too think too much about how my foot strikes, but o could see that causing pain.
-
I'd love to run too! I try. I've lost a little over 70lbs and am currently around 200 I am slow I can only go about 2 minutes before I have to walk for 30-45 seconds then jog again. Repeat. I have gotten a little bit better since I started in July, but truthfully I am not able to give it as much attention as I would like.…

Add me if you like. I am down 71lbs with more to go.

Calories in, calories out. It's important when cutting calories to ensure you are getting proper nutrients. Many shakes have added vitamins and minerals. Do what works for you.
-
What type of results are you after? If you increase fitness or change diet? You should feel the difference within a week.
-
Feel feee to add me. I am down 71lbs with more to go

I think your Apple Watch is more accurate than the Fitbit or whatever MFP or other apps will give you. For me, 56 min of P90, Apple Watch gives me ~350 active calories, Map my Fitness allows 800.

This needs to be bumped up for new people to read @godlikepoetyes This post was so awesome! Just Show Up :-) So simple and true for everything in life

Saucony Omni 14's. Almost time to replace.

If you want strength w cardio - try 21Day Fix. I would substitute the yoga say as I am not a fan. I am in the middle of P90 (no x) and am enjoying that. I started with T25 and only did Alpha round.

I sometimes have to reconnect to have it take my steps. Just a few clicks and it is fixed. I think it's the MFP app issues
-
I do home only workouts (plus walking and recently started jogging) since October and I am down 62lbs. I have done 21day fix workouts, T25 and currently doing P90. You don't need a gym
-
On my Apple Watch, my average is 480. I usually get 175-225 from P90 then credit for other "active" times of the day mostly walking. If I have my early morning strength routine, a half hour walk mid day, and then 2 mile run at night, I'll have 1100 "active" burn according to my watch.

My two cents: - awesome that you are trying! - get fit for sneakers at a real running store - be sure you can walk at a nice clip for over 60 min (sounds like you have this one down) - walk/jog at a track if you can. It is such a big difference to your knees / hips - start 15/30 seconds jog, 1 min walk and go up from…

I go under steps / change to iPhone, then right back to iWatch, then it works Very annoying :-)

I am an Elomi fan.

Truly awesome! Congratulations on your three years and many many more to come!

You need something with a heart rate monitor
-
Great job! So awesome to see and old post come back as so positive

I am down 2.3 lbs this week. It's seemed like forever from 20-30 pounds lost. I have lost 8.4 towards this challenge. I have a pair of jeans from 1997 hanging on my closet door. I will one day fit into them!
-
I am down 0.6 for this week
-
Your doing great so far! Maybe save a protein towards the end of the day to keep you satisfied at night.

I am down 2.4 this week! SW 251.4 CW 245.9 For 5.5lbs to this challenge For February, I am going to keep at my momentum for good eating and kick it up with the exercise and follow T25
