Luckily, I trust my instructor not to push me more than I can take. I think our class the other day only had 5 'crossfitters' and I was the only beginner so I get lots of one on one help. They haven't even had me messing with any weight, just working on my form. My coaches know my goals and are always so helpful when…

haha! Feel free to add me. I do hunt raccoons, it's one of my main driving reasons to get healthy!

Luckily, I live in a very small town so there aren't a ton of people there when I go for CrossFit. I get a lot of one on one training with the instructor. Just signed my membership today  going to work on getting to comp level in CrossFit

So, as I'm reading this sitting in my desk at work I happened to look down at my body and all I could see was my boobs and thighs! No stomach in the way! Unexpected things about weight loss so far: (I've only lost 10 pounds, but plenty of inches due to CrossFit and C25k) *You WILL lose friends, because you get tired of the…

I tried it for the first time last night and it was great! The coach slowed it down and changed the workout to suit my level. Thank you all for your input!!

@nomadcelt Thank you so much! Definitely the reply I was looking for on here with lots of explanations. I very much appreciate it.
-
@_Bro Thank you!

I think the one I'm going to today has a program for beginners. My coworker is who has been encouraging me to come with her and she said they usually start you off with just a light bar and show you the ropes before ramping you up any.
-
@LazSommer - haha well, that is very to the point. I'm starting crossfit for the first time today and am very nervous. I've never lifted or done anything of the sort, but I want to get strong. I'm just worried because everyone keeps talking about how they know someone that's had a injury from doing it.

Thank you all :)

I've been loosing the weight very steadily. I've lost about eight pounds in 30 days, but I've lost a lot of my waist (I should've taken measurements and didn't) I can tell I've built some muscle, especially in my calves from walking the hills I have around my house. I'm honestly considering a personal trainer, but I would…

I've lost 17 pounds so far and just not seeing much a difference! Hopefully, over the next few pounds and working out I'll start to see some difference in my legs.. :)
-
Thank you :)

I have muscle in my legs, quite a bit, my legs just aren't toned at all. I hunt every night so I walk cross country through hills in the woods every night... but that just isn't enough

@MsMarvel27 @mysteps2beauty I'm doing this for me - but they definitely serve to motivate me and remind me why I'm doing this. :#

@andygabrielle @MsMarvel27 He's just down right rude about his ex girlfriend and as far as he's ever told me it didn't end badly. That's what scares me. A little TMI but he seems to want me a lot less since I've gained weight. So, that doesn't help with my self esteem. I also have a brother-in-law who makes super rude…

Thank you! My favorite quote so far has been "Do it for the holy *kitten* you got hot!"

I have always been larger, but I gained about 20 pounds since we've started dating. My Nana always tells me "fat and happy", which doesn't help things at all. Thank you :)
-
3 more pounds! Gotta keep pushing, can't let myself continue to be discouraged.
-
Thank you!
-
That's awesome! Good job!!!
-
I hadn't seen that! I will definitely be looking into buying a food scale.
-
I'm horrible with portion sizes - that's one of my main problems
-
Yeah, I'm not buying anything, my Nana already owns it all - and I make my own shakes so I don't need their shakeology! haha
-
@Lu_wallace06 - No, I don't think so. I make my own shakes for breakfast when I have time. I would never do this if I had to buy it - super overpriced! - but my Nana is a huge fad dieter so she already owns all the stuff and I thought I might give it a try :) @queenliz99
-
I figured it can't really hurt as long as I'm meeting my calories.
-
@TeaBea @juggernaut1974 @queenliz99 @kcrow4102 I thought it might be worth a try at least. :) I'll continue my logging, the exercise DVD it comes with, and my normal exercise while doing it.
-
Reasons I raise my own cattle and chickens. I'm terrified of pigs though - so guess I'll keep eating store bought bacon!
-
You're very lucky!
-
@HannaSusi - Well, it could go either way so I had to ask :s
