Honestly, if you can't bring yourself to "clean bulk", you can just do a protein shake in the morning with breakfast, before your workout, and then one before bed. What I did to start losing again was to track my food very strictly and decrease my carbs. I also made a spreadsheet to make sure I'm under my calories for the week. So basically if I go over by however many calories, I cut calories off of the next day or next couple days so it evens out.

Don't underestimate just walking. An hour of walking is roughly 300 calories which can be the difference between losing and not losing over a week.

I hear that. Personally, I like to have a diet coke so I feel like I'm drinking when I want to binge on sugar. You can always get some good music and go for a long walk or jog. You should definitely take it easy at first with the exercise. It's going to be a lot tougher if you mess up your knees and then you can't do any exercise.
