Omg those apple jacks look grim! They have 10g sugar in a 27g portion - more than a 3rd (37%) of the contents is just sugar. The other one is 6g sugar in a 40g portion so not great either but slightly better, at least only 15% sugar. I love sweets as much as anyone, but a bowlful for breakfast seems a poor start to the day…

Add me, been logging since October but only really discovered the forum a few weeks back. I mainly cycle (road/mtb/cx) but also do a bit of running.

I don't log coffee but I purposefully over estimate the milk I log for my breakfast to cover my coffee intake for the day. Also homemade salad- I won't log all the component ingredients, I'll just look up s generic ' mixed salad' entry that looks about right and log that instead. If I'm eating a buffet at a party (once in…

Bigger = larger muscles or more fat = heavier. Don't stress about overall weight maybe use body fat percentage as a guide to how you are doing instead. On the other hand if you have a lot of weight to lose you can gain muscle and still be lighter overall.

Walking on a treadmill for 1-2 hours a day will get boring really quickly even if watching movies at the same time. If you don't already run why don't you challenge yourself to run 5k? There are loads of couch to 5k programmes that you could follow on a treadmill and having an aim will help keep you motivated.

I'm a big fan of strava and use it to log all of my rides and runs. The mobile app is pretty straight forward on a gps phone. When you have a few activities logged it's great for seeing your progress over a period of time. Maybe try logging in on a pc once you've logged a few activities to get a better feel for all you can…

A proper warm up immediately prior to the beep test should help loads. Walk to slow jog for 15mins prior will help you get the most out of the test. In the long term increasing distance and doing interval sessions will help with increased pace

Anything I normally eat but less.... In theory. In reality as I'm now checking calories I'm finding I make concious decisions to eat healthier. I even ended up throwing out half a cheesecake yesterday
