Log it and move on. Did you enjoy it? I just had a chocolate frosty with my lunch. Means my dinner will be a salad as I have no work out planned today. Totally worth it.

You should look into joining a gym that runs classes. I found at my gym (stopped going for a bit due to an injury) that the ladies in the classes were very supportive. Even if we didnt chat much, there are always smiles and encouragement from everyone for everyone. Might be helpful to get you into the swing of things?

I always want the nap on the weekend after my long dog walks. 3+ hours in the fresh air makes me sleepy. I don't take them though, as I have too much to do and my naps must be at least 2 hours long or they make me feel worse.

Look at that butt!

If you search around for pooch and pouch and whatever else you want to call it, there are a few threads with before and after pictures :)

Are you sleeping enough? I had no idea how little sleep I got (when thinking I was getting plenty) until I got my fitbit and started tracking my sleep. You can use a phone app to do the same thing.
-
I love my fitbit. The calorie burn numbers are super helpful for me, as depending on the day, I burn anywhere from 1500-2500 cals, so I like knowing how much I need to eat (or not eat) to maintain. I also love the HR tracking, as it actually showed up a medical problem about a month ago before I had any symptoms. I ended…

It depends... does eating that chocolate bar make you feel better, or worse? I found out some *kitten* (and unexpected) news about my dogs health on Friday night. I had fast food for dinner because I wasn't in the mood to cook afterwards, and then had a chocolate bar later because I was feeling down and wanted it. I felt…

Just going to say... obviously eating pizza and stuff every day isn't the healthiest, but eating 1 big meal and 2 smaller meals isn't harmful if you are happy doing it that way. A lot of people who do IF do 1 big meal, or 2 medium meals and skip one completely, etc... so maybe don't be so hard on yourself about eating most…

Dog walking is pretty much the only cardio I get these days. That's what happens when you have 3 dogs, and 1 will start eating furniture if you don't walk her, and the other 2 can't be walked with the first one as it causes behaviour issues. I have to do 2 dog walks a day minimum. I try to get the first dog out for at…

Seems to be a bunch of homemade workouts. Similar to tv drinking games. Everytime X happens in the movie, you do Y. For example: every time Ron says "bloody hell" you do 10 lunges. Could be fun if you watched the movies regularly, and even better with a friend.

Dance away! It's my favourite form of cardio even though I am terrible at it. Who cares? As long as it's raising your heart rate and making you sweat, that's all that matters.

Drink the egg nog, give your body a break, and stop worrying about how much lean muscles your trainer thinks you are losing. Does it really matter? If you are working out consistently, you are going to keep more than enough muscle to work from once you are at goal weight. Give yourself some slack here. It's holiday season.…

Thanks to some current health issues, I'm usually thinking... "Don't pee don't pee. Hold it in. Clench tight. Why do I have to pee so bad? I just went! DO NOT PEE! Oooh look how much weight that woman is lifting, can't wait until I look that badass omg please don't pee." Will be so happy to get in to see a specialist so I…

I keep moving when mine flares up. I'm lucky and the pain only lasts for a day or 2. Thank goodness as I get nerve pain with it in my skin on the back of my leg that makes it feel like I have a terrible sunburn - clothes hurt, sitting hurts, touching anything hurts. I talked to my doc and she said she can't do much, but to…

My daily weight can fluctuate 2-4lbs between morning and night. It's nothing to worry about. Pick a time to weigh and stick with it.

This right here I agree with. I HATED PE as a child and a teenager. Fortunately in high school, my PE teacher never figured out that his punishments were never actually punishments. (Go sit on the sideline for the rest of class for not participating. Uh sure thing teach, thanks!) I don't believe in punishing the whole…

I'm 5'5 and started out at 165.5. I weighed in at 125 this morning. So what's not realistic about your goal?
-
I always add a small sprinkle for flavour. Don't think it's enough to do anything else, but it sure tastes good. :)

I used to get asked this all the time. My husbands mother was discussing whether or not I was pregnant or just fat during my wedding ceremony -.- I almost paused things just so I could tell her to stfu or gtfo. Just gotta let it roll off and keep moving forward. Or you can enjoy loudly replying to people "no, I'm just fat,…
-
Honestly? GTFO now while you still can. Life without him will be so amazing you have no idea. You don't NEED any man to love you. You don't need a man at all. Love yourself, and someone will come along who isn't an abusive jerk. I've been there, done that. Had my mum drive 20 hours to come get me so I could take my pets…

I used to tie my rings into my shoelace as I never remember to leave them at home (or forget to put them back on if I do). But recently I got a new water bottle with a built in clip that works way better for me. Wearing my rings while lifting just hurts. Plus I don't want to damage them.

It's all just math. Your body needs X amount of calories to run, your job is to figure out how to make all your food add up to that number. Nothing is bad or good as long as your final number matches with what you need. Carbs, fat, protein, macros can all come in later once you consistently hit your calorie equation. I…

Get outside. Find some place that makes you happier and try to spend time there. Exercise. It's pretty much the only thing that helps me when I'm having anxiety problems, or feeling stressed out to the point it's affecting me physically and mentally. I know it's not the same as depression, but it's one big thing that's…

Feel free to add me, I'm always around :)

I get anxious and stressed once my house passes a certain level of mess. I can't even work when it gets like that, so I can imagine it would affect eating as well. Just pick the smallest room and start there. Or the cleanest one. That's what I do. It usually jump starts my cleaning mode once something is sparkling again.…

I see that I'm small, but when I am around other small women, I still feel like the biggest one. Not that I was even that big to start with. I think it just takes time for your brain to catch up with what your body actually looks like. Especially compared to other people.

You can also do sweet potato noodles and butternut squash noodles. As well as the good ole favourite of spaghetti squash. They all taste great as a pasta replacement. I had butternut squash myself tonight, and had spaghetti squash last night.

I have fine hair that used to be prone to being greasy. My scalp hates being washed more than once a week though. The longer I go between shampoos, the longer it takes for my hair to look stringy. I also only shower a few times a week. Maximum of every other day. You don't need to shower daily. It's not great for your…

My husband told his family I was on a diet when I said I didn't want any of the starter they were ordering. I corrected him and said no, I just don't like any of what you guys are getting, but I would be happy to split something else with someone if anyone is interested (nobody was :'( I wanted the hummus starter). It's…
