I think there should be a cutoff date. Otherwise, a random cutoff may have people wondering if the cutoff was because of a particular vote spread. Being as how everyone doesn't necessarily stop in every day, how about Jan. 1 as the cutoff?

If I should 'fall off the wagon' for a day I would pick myself up and go on. And there have been a few days I ate at maintenance instead of at deficit. But to deliberately plan a day that would go over maintenance? Nope.

I would never encourage anyone to be sedentary. If you've done running and biking, find a way to keep on doing them. Apart from that, examine your eating habits, and make and stick to a plan.

I don't think anyone argues that definition of calorie. For some people, eating low carbs and more fats may be successful for them if that way of eating leaves them less hungry. Why would people argue with success?

I sometimes have a low carb protein shake for lunch. I would never use Slimfast, the sugar would act to make me hungry in an hour.

The room I have my lifting equipment and two other exercise machines in has a hook and latch on the outside. When my grand daughter gets old enough to reach the latch, I'll install a lock.

I have felt hungry the past few days so I am just increasing calories to eat at maintenance for a few days to avoid bingeing. That way, while I won't lose wait for a few days, I won't gain either.
