I don't count calories, and when I did it was to help me gain weight (on another account). I'm still here because I really enjoy reading through the forums :)

Crushing up an oreo in greek yogurt is GENIUS. Thank you for that :)

One day won't have an impact, but you should be eating more than 1000-1200 calories per day.

I've personally had great success doing 30-35 minute workouts 5x a week (Jillian Michaels and Kayla Itsines). I think as long as you're consistent you'll see results. But if you WANT to work out for longer because you enjoy it and have the time, go for it.

I haven't had any alcohol in a month - not for any specific reason, I've just been busy with work for the past 3 weekends. It wasn't a hard thing for me to kick, but I will be enjoying some vodka on Halloween and I like that it'll be a treat as opposed to something I do regularly!

Ben & Jerry's ice cream. I can't seem to just have a single serving... For me - serving = the entire pint!

Is it possible you're overeating due to stress/boredom? I only ask because I've had the same problem, but only while I'm at work, typically in the afternoon. Do you have trouble identifying when you're full during a specific meal/time of day, or does it vary?

I've recently started eating dates to add some fibre to my diet! I eat them on their own or chopped up in oatmeal/greek yogurt.

I had salad with a chipotle dressing and a can of lemon and pepper tuna today. That was definitely filling!

I could eat 1200 calories worth of peanut butter in one sitting - try a spoonful of that!

Creamy chipotle chicken and shrimp pasta (I have this once a year on my birthday from a local seafood restaurant and it is to die for).

I stir a tsp of honey or 1 tbsp of peanut butter (sometimes PB2) into plain greek yogurt. Sometimes I add dates, or berries, or organic granola. So yum. I personally prefer 2% over nonfat.

I second this. Hate celery.

I tried PB2 for the first time this week by mixing it with almond milk and chocolate vega protein powder, and a couple days later mixing it into plain oats. I wasn't crazy about it to be honest, but then again I don't think I added enough to my oats to add flavour. I'm going to try adding it to plain greek yogurt next…
