I went through and friend requested most of you on here, I'm an active user and love support and motivation!

That's awesome! I worked with a sustainable development group in college doing green/sustainable agriculture in Nicaragua but it wasn't for as long! Sounds like great work you did!
-
I would love to join! I'm also 26 I am 5'4 and 176lbs. SW: 182 CW: 176 GW: 172 No weight loss this week, stayed the same as last. 3 out of 4 holiday parties down so the drinking and eating should go down a notch soon lol!

I am very much a night time snacker so when I get in that mood at night I've been trying to go to bed early instead. Which is helping me with one of my other goals of waking up earlier in the morning. During the day at my desk when I want to snack I try to busy myself with something else or put it off by thinking to myself…

Starting weight: 182 Current weight: 176 January goal: 172

Sorry I missed last weigh in and haven't been posting! I had a little mini vacation this past weekend and though I have been logging my food and drink I didn't weigh in on Friday. I've been doing alright with my eating but I have been drinking far too much! I haven't worked out either but I did a lot of walking. Oh well…

Lucky except for the part where I work all weekend lol!! I will be hopefully leaving one of the jobs in January and going back to a 6 day work week- then I'll be part of the weekend struggle haha!
-
Weekends tend to be better for me actually because I work two jobs that keep me walking and on my feet all day!
-
Haha I can handle myself with sweets but I'm really tempted by a nice old fashioned or rye and bitters on the rocks after work! I get free bottles of great whisky, gin, and vodka from my job. How I wish they were calorie free lol!
-
I work at a distillery...so hard to keep from drinking lol!! Delicious whisky is my weakness haha. But I'm trying I only drank once this week! I have more to lose than just the ten pounds but I'm taking it in small goals. Starting weight: 182 Current weight: 179 January goal: 172

I did alternating walking and running on the treadmill. Still just getting into fitness but I surpassed the goal I set for myself! My goal is 1400 a day on here but I aim for less. My biggest problem is drinking, I take in way too many calories that way
-
My ultimate goal is to lose 60-70 pounds as well! I don't have a time frame for it but am looking at little goals first, can't wait to get rid of the first 20!
-
Thank you all for your advice!
-
I am in the same boat as you all! 50-70 to lose, and am battling emotional/stress/bored eating and working 7 days a week so I am usually exhausted and busy. Let's encourage each other to prioritize ourselves and our health
-
I feel you! I have a very hectic schedule as well, and work 7 days a week. Actually I gained quite a bit of my weight when I picked up my third job as I was just exhausted all the time and felt I didn't have enough time to work out. Unfortunately you just kind of have to force it in. Go to the gym or for a run on…

No pre-existing cardiovascular issues, i went for an ulcer and they did the ekg as a precaution to rule out heart trouble, especially since my heart rate at the Drs was high, which was due to anxiety
-
Any day is fine for me :)
-
Thank you for your reply! I'm not trying to sprint but I have not consistently worked out in probably over 2 years. I run on the treadmill for 90 seconds at a time and the. Walk to get my heart rate down then try again job again, usually walk about 5 minutes in between but keep my heart rate up still over 130 or so…

Vodka or gin with seltzer or on the rocks. But if it's a once I the whole thing id say drink what you like :)

We are our own worst critics! A lot of people out there are not put off by someone's size and never notice cellulite or are bothered by it. I believe people are beautiful in every shape and size especially to those who are attracted to your personality and heart as well
-
I am 26 with more than that to lose hopefully, but starting with small goals! I'd love more friends for support and accountability!
-
I am going to add you I am in a very similar situation! I am also 26 and used to be a runner but I haven't done it in years. I could really stand to lose 50-70lbs. I just started easing into running and mfp again in the last couple weeks
-
I'd love to join that's a great and realistic goal I think! Will be tough through the holidays so the support would definitely be useful lol!
-
You can do it I know you can! Little steps at a time. I gained a lot of weight after I quit smoking too.
-
I am from Phoenix NY lol
-
I will add you i am looking to loose at least 50 too, I could stand to lose 70 but im starting with smaller goals. The support on this site is great :)
-
Thanks!
-
Best of luck to you I know you can do it! I'm in a similar boat I lost 20 lbs in 2012 and have gained back double that mostly due to stress and depression. Food has always been my comfort as well whether unhappy or just bored- so I understand!

I am new as well!
