  • I had an overwhelming craving for a sushi bowl and Uber eats gave me a $20 off promo AND my favourite sushi bowl place had buy 1 get 1 promo. The deal was amazing but I was able to resist the urge to order it since it’s high in carbs, they put a lot of sauce, and there’s sugar in the rice wine vinegar, which would go…

  • Had goal of 10k average steps day and 4 workouts at home and was achieving that last week but due to an injury had to stop all exercise. Mini goal is to slowly build up to 10k steps a day again and do 3-4 workouts per week at home consistently again by end of Sept.
  • Just finished my first extended fast ( I usually eat OMAD) of 69 hours. I initially planned on only doing 47 hours but I wasn’t hungry so continued until I was. Food tastes soo good after fasting! It’s seems like tastebuds reset.
  • Reached a 10 lb total loss yesterday! Started at 134 May 9. I’m 5 feet so my BMI was considered overweight. Currently 123lbs New mini goal is to be under 120 by July 9.
  • 1.5 more lbs and I’ll be down 10lbs.
  • Goal this week is to be more consistent with walking. Hoping to do 10k steps a day for the next week.
  • I started May 9 at 134lbs and in the “overweight” BMI category. Today I’m 126.5lbs and now in the “Normal” BMI category! Have a ways to go but I’m so happy with this progress.
  • 1 more pound to lose so my BMI will be in the “normal” category instead of the “overweight” category!
  • I’m 5 feet, 41 years old. I was 134 on May 9th and have been doing OMAD since and eating lowish carb most days. Lots of veggies, meat. A bit of Popcorn or a bit of my favourite cheese, or a bit of my favourite coconut pineapple smoothie every night. I don’t want to deprive myself of the things I enjoy. I like to eat and so…
  • In 2009-10 I went from 136 ( my heaviest) to 110. Weight gained due to college/ work stress. Maintained for a while and the weight slowly came back up due to stress. In 2015-16 I lost 25 lbs ( I’m 5feet) 124 to 99 lbs. Maintained and slowly went back up due to stress, work, illness , taking care of elderly family who were…
  • I started walking again for exercise today. Did 4600 steps on Thursday and 12000 steps Friday. My goal is to get back to doing at least 10,000 a day.
  • .2 lbs till I've lost the average size of a 2 year old. ( 25 lbs)
  • I did 26,500 steps yesterday which is equivalent to over 21km...a half marathon! I was also able to fit into a dress my boyfriend bought for me last year that I could not even zip up 1/4 of the way last year. The dress was soo nice but only available in that one size at the time. I remember doubting myself at the time and…
  • Did not touch one cookie, baked good, or treat during a conference that I attended the past 2 days. They were in abundance so it was difficult. Additionally, breakfast and lunch as well as a social with drinks and passed hors d'oeuvres as well as all types of cheese. I made sure I had a small healthy breakfast at home and…
  • My goal is to get back on track this week and eat healthy again after a weekend getaway where I ate whatever I wanted but that meant eating 3500 calories a day for 3 days ( which is a lot since maintenance for me is 1350)
  • I've been really sick for the past 4 days and super stressed for an exam I have in Tuesday ( stress due being unable to study for 4 days!) but I managed to eat at maintenance on date night tonight instead of just binging like I normally would. Tomorrow is a colleague's retirement lunch and it's at my favourite all you can…
  • 37 and at barely 5 ft, I eat between 900- 1100 to slowly lose weight ( calorie cycle depending on activity level) ( 1300 is supposedly my maintenance and what I tend to eat when I exercise a lot) I binge eat about 3 times a month when we eat out with family/friends--especially if it is a buffet. I always try to avoid them…
  • After a major cheat day, I am too full the next day and end up eating much less. I naturally won't even be hungry until mid afternoon and will just have a small snack/lunch and small dinner. I also make sure to do some extra strength building exercises to make good use of the extra calories and consider it a "bulking" day.
  • Awesome!! Patience paid off big, didn't it?

  • Your health benefits are amazing! So happy to hear the heart issue is in remission.
  • You look so happy and have much to be proud of! Congratulations!
  • Wow ! Congratulations on your success! Would it be possible to detail more of what your workout and diet was during mid 2014- mid 2015? Were you able to lose weight and gain muscles in parallel? Thank you so much-you are such an inspiration!
  • SkinnyPop --at 39 calories a cup, it's such a satisfying salty snack Calbee snappea chips --another great snack when I want something crunchy. Simply Protein chips--high in protein --lots of crunch. Tradition organic fudgsicles from Costco. These have so much flavour and are only 90 calories. I have one after dinner most…
  • I increased the weights I was using and have been working out consistently. Did almost 13k steps yesterday. Slept earlier
  • Wow! You look amazing:) Congrats on your progress and good luck for your competition! How long did it take to get from the left pic in your profile to the right? What has your diet and workouts been like during this time?
  • I ended up with about 1600 calories over ( a lot since I'm only 5 ft) but I did get over 10k steps in today and 15 min of weight lifting. I've already planned some extra work outs for this week :)
  • So far, only ate about 100 calories of chocolate! Having a traditional Newfoundland /Easter dinner with the in laws later so I plan to eat at maintenance or go over a bit.
  • Congrats! That is quite an accomplishment ---definitly a big milestone to be proud of!
  • Finally got back on track with doing my goal of 11K steps a day...actually ended up with over 13.5k steps!
