Thank you for your insight!!! I'm not sure if you would call me gullible or what, but someone with a doctorate degree, I assume is a professional so I don't ever question one, right away.. thanks again I'm glad you gave your insight as one yourself!

He actually did go into some detail of his life, mentioned he's divorced and his ex wife has panic attacks etc.. I've had 2 sessions with him but I don't think we mesh well, as he's not the typical therapist I've had in the past either.. but interesting you pointed that out, he did go into detail about himself, I kind of…

Ah yes that totally makes sense, like now I just feel like eh I don't trust you about anything now! Thanks everyone for your input, definitely seeking someone else!
-
I'm doing it now, but I'm so out of shape that I actually had to call into work sick because after the first 2 days I couldn't move
-
I went from being able to do zero push ups last month, to 7 REAL push ups! lol it's so sad but hey I'm excited
-
I have one I got on my right side just below my panty line.. I gained some weight (okay more than some!) and every stretch mark was like- here, lets form right here!! So now my lovely dolphin looks pregnant, and has some kind of severe scoliosis and a tumor on its tail
-
My mom got it, and my sister in law got it, my sons speech teacher got it- zero weight loss/drive for any of them since then! lol I know that's not everyone's case, but I see it now as bad luck so I don't want to get one lol! But hey if you need the motivation and shove to get back into things, or to work harder at it, and…

Yes I love it! Kind of keeps me motivated, I enjoy watching it!

*patty!

Thanks for the advice! My first try it ended up all over and no where near like a party lol!

I started out in the high 200's and even then I felt a bit iffy about it.. You ever watch that show- my big fat fabulous life? I think that helped me decide how I felt about it! The girl is all about accepting all body types in her dance class- which I think is great, I hate hearing of heavier people being fat shamed when…

Depending on how it's phrased- I hate when someone asks implying or flat out saying it looks easy for me- I have come up with an answer for everyone Hard work, lots of exercise, lower calories and much healthier food choices; more exercise, less food.

Do you have a Boston market near you? I used to buy a half rotisserie chicken- or just go to your grocery store- it had about 80g of protein in it alone!! Just something I enjoyed!
-
I've asked this question and been told that belly fat is the LAST to go.. not a helpful answer, but I'm in the same boat as you!
-
I have depression and anxiety, it's always been a battle, and I totally have noticed an improvement in my stress etc since dieting and exercising- sorry- lifestyle change! Lol but now my hormones are out of wack from such a change in my diet and eating better that I get randomly upset :-( damn our bodies!

Thanks so much everyone! I'll check out all the suggestions!

Any stores carry it or is it online only?
-
Also less fear of going to the doctor! (Still nerve wracking though)

How people/friends personalities change! My cousins have been all fixated on that advocare and the one has gained (no joke) over 100 pounds in the last 2 years.. I don't say anything but I get the side stare... I think people's insecurities come out, also losing friends if your main thing to do with them was to go out and…

Okay, I'll try to keep that in mind, I'm such a number on the scale person
-
I pre plan my days ahead of time
-
I get my meals from a meal prep place so they weigh things, but as far as measuring and weighing things I make at home, yes I am very meticulous
-
***FYI most of my meals are from a reputable meal prep place
-
I should note- the day off of my diet occurred 5 days ago, so that's why I'm wondering why the scale is STILL up
-
Yes! This! I actually feel comfortable, I can move better, just the little daily activities are so much easier! I am "living" now
-
I'm 5'4 SW- 274 CW- 199 GW- 170 (BMI would be considered "overweight" but it's a weight I felt comfortable at, that's my goal unless I get to it an feel I can do more)
-
Well I normally gain a pound around ovulation and a few during time of the month... But I'm not near either so I shouldn't have a gain! Still hoping it's just water weight just from the exercise, that scale is frustrating
-
Thank you everyone for your opinions and info!! I still have 50 pounds to lose to technically be at a good BMI, but 35 pounds to lose to where I will feel happy, I'm still going slow and steady, also sometimes I feel that weight watchers tends to baby people instead of saying what needs to be said to some people
-
Also- if I add in exercise, won't I have to eat back some of those calories burned so I'm not at a deficit of less than 1200? My body has adjusted to the 1250, I don't go to bed hungry as I eat lots of small meals and drink lots of water
-
I have been, I'm down to 1250 calories, and I worry about going any lower, I'm not very active, don't exercise much, maybe even with my limited time to exercise I have to start?
