  • Nice. That's probably going to help. I also like find that it helps to say "Yes, I'll try that! Maybe we should do it together! I can Skype you at 5am everyday to lift weights with me, Uncle Bob, and then we'll both lose weight!" Nothing makes people backpedal faster that a possible commitment.... LOL
  • If I want chips during my TV time at night, I put the bag on my kitchen counter and a BIG tumbler of calorie free beverage at easy reach of the couch. Then I only allow myself two chips for each trip from the couch to the kitchen. No matter how good they are, my lazy wins out after about four trips and I stay on the couch…
  • Personal victory last night for me... Watching everyone else down Green Mill bread and herb butter while I stuck with my salad. Yes, it IS possible to go somewhere with free bread without downing an extra full meal's worth of calories! Plus, then I could eat my gyro when it came without guilt. :)
