  • It depends a lot on the brand. I'm in the UK, and I buy a brand called Clipper as I find it a more rounded flavour. I take this with a dash of milk and 1 sweetener tablet. It's 2 calories worth lol If I'm feeling flush with calories, I'll make myself a Chai Tea on my coffee machine. It's around 120 calories I think but…
  • I have the airpods which I LOVE. My husband jokes that my ears were clearly the ones apple used as a template as I'm the only person he knows who can keep them in! I took them on a 5 hour run the other week and they were fine batterywise. I also have the powerbeats, but whilst the sound is good I don't really like the…
  • I just create a recipe using the ingredients I plan on using. I usually log my whole day in the morning so I don't have to worry about it later :) If you always have a ham and cheese sandwich on sourdough, you can create it as a meal which you can just import with a couple of taps :)
  • I tend to be upset anytime I discover a new "healthy" food that isn't that good calorie wise lol Discovered I love Avocados, but can rarely fit them into my calories :( In terms of genuine disappointment, I ordered one of those low calorie pizzas from pizza express (UK) and it's just a thin crust pizza that they've cut a…
  • Good luck! Don't be like me and eat it all back afterwards though ;) X
  • I stop eating after I close my food diary for the day lol Last night that was at around 7.30pm. I find that if I don't, I'll keep picking right up until I go to sleep and probably blow my allowance as a result!
  • Depends what I'm in the mood for. Some of my hobbies include: - practising calligraphy - running - reading - cake decorating/baking - knitting Can you find out whether there is any recommended reading for your college course? You could always get a jump start on that? :) Alternatively, maybe some exercise classes where you…
  • I like to wrap my chicken in foil for the first 3/4 of the cooking time and uncover it for the rest. This helps the chicken to steam while it is cooking, allowing it to cook more evenly and remain juicy. Your chicken could have been perfectly cooked, but carrying germs for all we know. I wouldn't personally cook chicken…
  • The packaging seems to think that 3/4 of a cup is 143g but 1 cup is 136g, so that's odd in itself! The old one lists the ingredients as just water and rice, does your new packaging state anything in addition to those? The birdseye website won't show me :(
  • What shoes are you wearing OP? Are they running shoes or just run of the mill trainers? Even though you think you are only jogging, running shoes are an excellent investment and the right ones should stop any knee pain :) X
  • You can run as often as you like. Its called "run streaking" (not the other kind of streaking hahahaha) Cross training wise, do anything that's not running! Cycling, Swimming, Rowing, Strength training... all of it is important so find something you enjoy :)
  • I only found out that mine was closed like 2 days ago haha I've since opened it to friends. I think it'll be good once I start to struggle so that like minded people can have a nose :)
  • Made a "healthier" lasagne when I was following Slimming World. Basically, you swap the white sauce for one you make yourself from natural yoghurt, an egg and some nutmeg. So, I made it. It looked and smelt like white sauce but it sort of... set... in the oven. It was vile. I hate omlettes and anything like that, so it…
  • I'm not a huge breakfast lover. I need to be at work for 8am, so unless I get up at 6am every day, I'm not having a cooked breakfast! I do like porridge oats with fruit and honey or cereal, which I can eat at my desk. Alternatively, I will just have a smoothie/shake or a breakfast bar for convenience. Lunch wise varies.…
  • Usually Implanon in the UK, but the same as Nexplanon. It's a little rubber strip that goes in your arm.
  • I had the same problem with the implant, such a pain because it was so convenient!! As above, try logging your weekends and see if that helps. I eat soooooo much on the weekends if I don't keep myself in check! It can really screw you over without you realising it. I've sent you a friend request too <3 xx
  • This just gets better! Yum yum yum - can't wait to try this now!
  • The ice cream I eat has a suggested serving size in grams on the tub, so I stick a bowl on my scales and scoop out ice cream until I reach that figure (or some other number I've worked out)
  • My doctor always told me that there's nothing in the pill that causes weight gain, but the hormonal changes can have an effect on appetite, water retention etc. I was told that it takes 3-6 months for your body to adjust to the pill, so it might just be a case of giving it time. If you feel you have given it time, you…
  • I like to plan myself little rewards for working out. Some people put $1 in a jar after every workout, so that they can buy something nice as a treat, but I prefer to plan a nice bubble bath or a manicure! I find it really motivates me to have something to look forward to afterwards :) I also hired a PT at my local gym,…
  • Thank you so much <3 going to try this next week! X
  • Anything haha 1-1.5lbs would make me a happy bunny though. 22 weeks until Christmas, would like to be nearer my goal by then lol
  • Can I get a recipe for that chili-lime chicken lunch? That sounds amaaaaazing. I'm fed up of sandwiches haha
  • Love a bit of 30 Day Shred! It's tough going but I did see an improvement in my strength and muscle definition in my arms when I first did it :) good luck! X
  • Things that get me up at 6am: - There's nobody in the park to see me - It's cooler than after work - If something unexpected comes up, I've already done my workout - There's nothing better than getting into bed after your shower and knowing that it's still not *technically* time to wake up! I get a good 10 minutes of duvet…
  • You've not only lost 17lbs, you've lost the couple of hundred lbs taken up by your horrible ex! Keep up the good work, and just imagine the look on his face when he sees you at your goal weight and so happy :) feel free to add me as a friend if you like <3
  • No advice, but I'm 5'10" too and girrrrrl. I wish I looked that good at 185lbs! It looks like a great weight for you :) Keep up the good work and have a lovely Wedding :) X
  • If you're cooking for your family, is that 3 Tbsp of Oil for the whole lot, or just your portion? If it's for the whole lot and it's feeding 4, then you only need to track 1/4 of the amount. If it's 3 Tbsp per portion, then how often do you have to buy Olive Oil? Omg you must get through so much! :open_mouth:
  • 17lbs is fantastic! Maybe instead of focusing on the scale, you could take measurements? Ultimately it isn't about the weight on the scale, it's about how you look and feel in your clothes (and yourself) so when you've maybe had a week where you haven't lost weight, you may find you've lost an inch off your waist. Keep it…
  • It depends what motivates you really. I like to weigh at least once a day. I like to see my weight patterns and if I've had a blowout, I can bring it back on track. Some people, however, prefer to weigh weekly as they obsess too much over any tiny little change in the scales. X
