If eating by yourself-take a trip to the local grocery store (if one is nearby). Easier to do that and pick up quick things for lunch/dinner (and also a quick breakfast in your room). If you have to dine with others, make protein a priority.

@malibu927 - This is super helpful, thank you. This is a question I've had for quite a while and I wasn't sure of the assumption MFP was using. Thanks. :)

It's better than junk food and the fat should help satiate. Keep trucking, you've got this.

Have you tried doing standing leg lifts (specifically, lifting your leg 'backward' and slightly to the side while standing on the other leg, slightly bent)? It takes me about 30 reps or so to start feeling my glute engage but it works. Also, have you tried foam rolling your hamstring so that it loosens up a bit?

Awesome, thanks!

Yep. I'm 5'5'' and currently 151. Goal is to be 120 but still maintain strength. Would love to have more friends with similar goals. Please feel free to add.

It depends on the person and depends on the person's goals. If you're someone who can 'do' moderation and let the cheat meal be just that-one meal. Some people can't and it starts them on somewhat of a downward spiral of eating more foods that will be counterproductive to their goals.
