Here's what I've done. I have a 14 year old, so its a little easier for me. But I have a similar job and equally horrible commute. I wake up way earlier than I used to (5:00 vs 6:30) and do 15 - 30 minutes of yoga or maybe light cardio in my basement. I use the sworkit app or just go to youtube to keep it fresh. I usually…

I had a similar problems with a Misfit watch. Really horrible customer service that never helped at all. I had to return it as well. Now I have the Garmin Vivosmart 3 and I love it. I know I'm not using half the functions in it. But it's a great step/sleep tracker and heart rate monitor. I can enter all my workouts, except…

One of the million reasons I love having my dogs is that I HAVE to walk every day, usually twice a day and ideally, 2 miles each. I've been doing this long before I started a calorie deficit and working out, so I don't eat back those calories, I just look at it as part of my daily routine. And yes to the boosting of…

While I understand your hesitancy to visit a Dermatologist, if you can find a good one, it could really help you. I swore off Derms after my teenage years of very aggressive treatments that seemed worse than the original problem. 20 years later and Accutaine is still ruining my life. Then I had to start going again for…

I got a new fitness tracker when I got halfway to my goal weight. It really helped me step up the work for the second half too

Any particular workouts you did that you think helped? Its a goal of mine as well

I take a magnesium supplement every day and I find its really helped me with my cravings.

I always recommend PT for sciatica, which I did when I was first diagnosed a decade ago. First, because my therapist knew I was working out before the pain, my exercises at PT were fairly intense. They were stretches that sort of blended in with working out (e.g. wall sits). But the best part of it was getting all those…

Check out city chic online online. I have quite a few dresses from them and I love them. Everything else from there has been a disappointment, but the dresses are great.

I used to joke about people who got sad and couldn't eat, because I was the exact opposite. Sadness meant a lot of ice cream and pizza. Then I got "sad" and barely ate 1000 calories a day, which is so below my norm. It took me a while to realize that my sadness was actually depression and it was only made worse by my low…

I did this once with leftover pre-made guac from the store. But I love this guac, tastes great and not too many additional ingredients. I never tried it with an avocado, mainly because I can't ever keep them from being hard as a rock or dark brown

Just to parrot everyone else, I went to a running store and got analyzed for the right shoe. When I was there, they had a clearance on the shoes from the prior year. They hooked me up with a great pair of Brooks in a horrible color I would never choose for around $80

I repeated weeks all the time when I was doing the app. I found it best to keep following the plan for the week as best I could and if I didn't like how I did, I started the week over again. Week 4 is a killer, I think I ended up doing it 3 times before I felt I could move on.

So I just realized that my post automatically censored itself, I can't remember what I put first. I just need to clarify that I have a big butt, bottom, rear end, tush, hinnie, other euphemisms. I do not have a big anythings that leads me to pick my underwear. I will never post about my huge anything again
-
Good luck

I'll jump out as the main underwear-wearer in this thread. I love the C9 from Target Premium Micro Mesh Perfomance. I use the hipsters, but maybe they have bikini too. I think they're $20 for a pack of 3. I'm heavy with a huge *kitten* and its the first time I'm not constantly picking at my underwear. I think there's less…
-
Totally agree with above, most of us are too concerned with ourselves to notice. I'd be trying to hide my *kitten* to notice. But even if I did notice, I can't say it would bother me, I would probably do a double take at most. Again, I say talk to the owner/manager. I think you should ask the owner that followed you if she…

I'm adding you both

I'm sending one to everyone here

Yup, I added the burger, fries and cider from going out to eat last night. A 2300 calorie day It was a long day, had to take my daughter shopping for a formal dress and we were exhausted and starving at 9:00 at night. I got no exercise (aside from the steps at the mall) and MFP told me I'd gain 5 pounds if I ate like this…

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cp94xQSqOrM&index=1&t=0s&list=PLEw7Z5686AzkvF49Mg4G5EyiUJX2LIuuM I've been doing this the morning after an intense workout. It's a good wake up and leaves me feeling pretty good the rest of the day.

My first big goal was a new garmin watch. I had been using a taped together jawbone tracker, which I dearly loved, but was obviously becoming obsolete. Bonus, the new watch tracked how many flights of stairs I do a day and now I make sure to hit the goal. Also, maybe there's an activity you weren't comfortable doing at a…

I'm loving my Garmin vivoactive 3, I bought it as a reward when I got halfway to my first goal weight. It is waterproof, it is supposed to track swimming, but I can't vouch for that. But I wear it in the shower so I don't waste a half hour washing my hair its been fine in there. I'm not a biker, but it has an option to…

So, if you haven't done any PT for sciatica. I really recommend it. When I first got, more than a decade ago, it was debilitating and the PT was amazing. But more importantly, they gave me great stretches to do. The only time the sciatica was ever really bad again was when I was lazy and didn't do the stretches regularly.…

Of course, I can't remember how I did it, but my Garmin only syncs activities. So, no extra calories for a 20,000 step day, unless I made a walk somewhere in there an activity.

I second (third, fourth) Old Navy. Their high waisted leggings are great. I definitely have the belly jiggle and this stops it completely when I run. Buy a pair, see if you like them, then go back and buy them in every color. Remember - never buy anything at Old Navy or Gap if its not on sale, just wait a few days.

I think you have to notice what patterns bring on the migraine. It's most likely something before the workout and the workout exacerbates it. At least that's my case, so if I eat something that triggers me or have a very stressful day, I'm most likely to have a migraine the following day. Make sure you're drinking enough…

I love their cauliflower rice, not frozen, its in with other fresh vegetables. It doesn't last too long, so I wouldn't buy too much, but I prefer to make my own cauliflower pizza dough than use what they have frozen. I've stocked up on bags, made the 'dough' and kept in the freezer for a few weeks. For some reason, TJ's…

Great story

I concur with Old Navy. I'm always suprised by how well they fit given the fit and quality of their other stuff
