I agree with @ninerbuff It's less about weight change and more about your body adapting. I had a similar thing happen to me a year ago and my weight hadn't changed an ounce. The fitter we are, the easier it is on our heart, etc.

I think most of us fight this battle @poppysierra. I feel like media, social media and the obsession with fitness tends to drive us to compete and compare. I have learned that I only need to compete and compare myself to my past self. Good luck on your journey....stay positive.

@HeyAutum Your welcome. I am proud and even prouder that I continue to learn every day. It takes quite a bit of work and commitment; especially as an emotional eater. Good luck on your journey.

@ClubSilencio My arms are my new favorite body part. Lol. @rebeccaEsmith Thanks

@mylifeisbeautiful Thank you so much. I'm glad my story could relieve some of your concerns. Good luck on your journey.

Thank you both ⬆ It's definitely a process... I've learned a lot and continue to learn every day. We really CAN do whatever we put our mind too.

Thanks for all the wonderful feedback, likes etc. I wish you all well on your journey... Good luck losing, maintaining and most of all evolving.

@Notaphase I am tremendously blessed witj an amazing physician who has helped me along this journey as well as my recovery post head-on collision in 2013. He always has my best interest in mind and prefers a more holistic approach if possible. I am so sorry you've had to go through what you've been through with your…

Thank you all... I am tremendously happy.

60lbs... Way to go. You look amazing.

Thanks sweetie

I can totally relate.... I think I burn calories just from pulling up my pants all day. Lol

I love this! I've also started finding ways to get more steps in each day. Parking as far as possible from stores, the gym, etc. I even spent time walking laps around the parking lot of the orthodontists when my son had an appointment. Wonderful suggestions.... Tricks! Great job.

Wow! Great transformation.. Congrats!

I honestly didn't track in the beginning. First, I started portioning my food (only using small plates and bowls.. Measuring with my fist). I lost 50lbs in the first six months. Then I put 10lbs back on because I was eating "garbage" still, just smaller amounts. In July, I came down with a gallbladder and lower intestine…

I use mine most days... :) But I'm in-maintenance and I don't want big deficits

Never give up. Every moment counts, no matter how big or small. You got this....stay positive. :) <3

Down nearly 90lbs in a little over 10 months... From size 20/22 (at my largest) to a size 5. From 200lbs to 112lbs.... And loads of inches lost (I lost before measurements )

Congrats! Thanks for sharing your story. I have a similar story and love seeing other's progress and accomplishments. Way to go!!

1. I don't lose my breath when I walk up the stairs (or anywhere) 2. It took months for my brain to catch up; I would try on clothes that were too big and when I put on tops that showed my waist, I would catch myself holding my breath(?) 3. I love working out 4. I find any excuse to MOVE (parking far from stores etc.) 5.…

PS. Avocado is a FRUIT!!!

Just FYI, I'm not avoiding food. I am only struggling with calories recently because I started working out. I'm trying to find a healthy balance. I will not be coming back to this feed because it's turned ugly and I don't need negativity or toxicity in my life. Thanks

Thank you @LynneW1983

Just FYI, KNOW the FACTS before you reply. I am vegan for health reasons AND I cannot eat gluten or dairy for health reasons. Thank you... My restrictions due to health are not easy for me but I DO NOT HAVE SN EATING DISORDER! Funny how being obese never triggered anyone to think I have an eating disorder but eating clean…

Very interesting.... I like this

I started counting after my weight loss because I realized I wasn't eating enough. Now I feel I have to track to maintain and not lose more.
-
Thanks again but I think maybe you misunderstood... I'm not eating 1000 Great post. Thanks!

So you're suggesting I don't tone and build my core? I workout for 45-50 minutes 4-5 times a week. I always walk two miles a day... it's just a given (normal errand running, daily working walk). I was sedentary for nearly a year and my body started deteriorating. I have seven herniated discs (among other injuries) from a…
