There are lots of good workout videos on youtube, just search and go! Also you can spend $10 on a jump rope and that is serious cardio. Good luck!

There are some people here who are miss-informed. Toning is about losing the weight, sure. But yoga also tones the layer lean tissue (not exactly muscle) that is actually on top of your fat. It has 'holes' in it, so when you're overweight the fat actually pokes through this layer of muscle. So of course as you lose weight…

I never had a seriously large belly but it was still plenty big. But it never stood out, it fell down into what a lot of people call and apron. Likely because my poor core muscles. I lost about 30lbs and then started doing several types of crunches ever other day. As much as I could handle. I'm at 37lbs down so far but the…

You look amazing! 160s is where I want to be too. I lost 30 lbs and now three days ago I started a keto diet as well with intermittent fasting. (Any good snacks/recipes you want to share? Haha) I'm still about 40lbs from where you are but your post was so ebcouraging!

I'm weirded out by why everyone is struggling understanding this. If you eat a small amount of calories, it lowers your metabolism because your brain compensates. So if you eat a reasonable amount of calories but still at a deficit, you will generally lose weight faster than someone at a severe deficit. Congrats!

Onderland is my current mini goal! 8.5lbs to go ;u; This will also mean I go from obese to overweight on the BMI scale and it'll be 40lbs down.

Finally tried on a pair of jeans that was a size down and they were a little loose! Also completed day one of the C25K and didn't die.

Hi :) I'd already lost 30lbs just doing plain old Calories in/Calories out but started a keto diet this morning. Hoping it'll take off the other 50lbs I could stand to loose by next year. Much luck to you :)

Good things come to those who work.

I made myself sick eating candy/chocolate today. I'm still under my calorie goal because I skipped one of my snacks and meals to make up for it, as well as exercising an hour. -_-' Such copious amounts of 'not healthy'.

You look amazing. This is exactly the post I was needing. Was just beating myself up for eating terribly today and was on the verge of tears. But now I feel like I can make better decisions for the rest of the day and beyond. No time for a pity party, time to get back up and get to it! Thank you so much for this.

Congratulations :) That must feel amazing. Great work.

5'9" Starting Weight: 241 Current Weight: 219 Goal Weight: Between 145-160, whatever looks healthy. It's only a 20 pound difference, but I thought it was significant enough to share. Thanks to everyone who's shared so far!

I lost 20lbs in about 3months on 1200 calories. Now I'm doing a lot of exercise so I pushed it to 1400 and we'll see how that goes. XP

I have 50 to lose and still won't be in a 'healthy' range for BMI either, but I looked and felt a ton better at that weight, so that's the first goal. Good luck to you! (Also I start nursing school in two weeks, so it'll be fun trying to eat healthy with that stress!)

I pick really arbitrary weight goals to focus my mind as I'm just starting off as well. I try to keep it between 1-5 lbs. Right now my goal is 3 lbs, despite the end goal being 60. I've also thought about just saying an inch off my hips {where I'm the largest}. Lots of good advice in this thread. Find one that sounds great…

Just started the tracker today and started Nutrisystem on Sunday. I'm looking to lose 60lbs. Good luck, I'm right there with you!

I'm starting with extremely similar stats! 5'9", 24 and 241 starting weight. And a serious sugar addiction. Lost three pounds in a couple days on nutrisystem. Here's to about 60 more haha. Good luck to you!
