Yeah I am realizing this LOL. I also realized that just because you workout and burn some calories it doesn't mean you get to eat them. That they're actually what help put you into a deficit. Common sense and something I should've realized before now. 😅

Def going to tighten my cals a bit. Thank you for the suggestions!

I appreciate all of this. I don't want to go too low in cals each day. I want this to be sustainable for me where I'm not gaining back what I've lost. My main goal is to just feel good and feel strong which is why I'm also doing a weightlifting program. After that, I'd like to lost a few pounds in my stomach and gain…

Yeah, I guess you're right - maybe my current calories are more maintenance than deficit. I just want my weight loss portion of this journey to be sustainable. I don't want to go down super low in cals each day and lose a few pounds just to gain it back.
-
Thanks I appreciate this. I am being patient - I know body composition takes time but just feeling like there shouldve been a bigger move on the scale by now 🤔

I'm doing the top thing. Sticking between 1500-2000 cals a day. Also walking daily. My average is 7k steps a day.
-
I'm at 148lb/31yo and my calories intake has been between 1500-2000 depending on what my exercise is that day. I do use a scale in the kitchen when playing my foods.

Looking for the same ✨

I'd be interested! Accountability always offers that extra boost of motivation for me. Feel free to message me and mention this thread. 30F. Goals: staying on track with nutrition and starting a low impact routine.

Feel free to add me! Want to lose 20 pounds. Motivation would be great.

If you're worried about eating out and eating unhealthy, maybe try batching your meals or meal prepping. Husband and I have been making food for the week on Sundays. Then our lunches (and sometimes dinners too) are good to go. No thinking involved. Grab and go and it's way nicer if you're tired after working, etc. I can…

Starting over too and need all the accountability 👏👏

Feel free to add me.

Google a list of anti-inflammatory foods. Ideally, you're going to want to stay away from things like sugar, processed foods, dairy, gluten, nightshade vegetables. Eat whole foods like cruciferous veggies, nuts, eat lean and wild meat (lamb, bison, etc.), watch your fruit intake because of sugar content, etc.

Yes, I'd be interested!!

Hi, how are you? Sorry for the late reply. I didn't see your comment before. Are you doing an elimination diet?
-
I love the accountability and support! Feel free to add me!

It's really great to have friends on your list and seeing that everyone is trying and reaching their goals. Feel free to add me if you want accountability!

That's a great goal. I think starting out with yoga is perfect. You can start slow and work up from there. You got this! Take one day at a time!

Sometimes not for a week, sometimes twice a week. It all depends on how I'm feeling. Some programs (like beachbody programs) have you do a weigh in weekly I think. The scale is just one way to see how hard you've been working. There are a lot of nonscale victories as well like how your clothing is fitting! Keep up the good…

Hello! Married here too. 🖐

Feel free to add me! I love the extra motivation! 😊💪

It's only the year for you if you make it the year for you!

Yep. Adapt and persevere! Good luck with your goal!
-
Good goal; to maintain. Congrats on the relay!! Remember to just stay in the moment!

Sorry to hear about the struggles you've had. Honestly, I'd say your first step is getting your diet in check. You can work out all day but if you're not putting good stuff in your body it's not going to make much of a difference. Good luck!! You can totally do it!
-
Focus on small steps. Make small goals. Like 5 pounds at a time. It'll all add up and before you know it, you'll have reached your big goal. Keep that determination, girl!
-
88 pounds?! That is incredible. Good for you! Those are some good goals. I can probably do like 10 push ups 😂 100 is a lot, but you can do it!
-
Funny you say that. I saw someone recently mention about what you're supposed to do when you don't have the motivation to work out (or really do anything else in life). And it's discipline. Just get up and do it. Plain and simple. Though, I will say, I find it helpful to talk to people who are on similar journeys. It helps…

Those are good goals! Good luck, you got this!
