In agreement.

I was totally like that and after 5-6 months was running 3-4 miles at an incline with no problem. You should look at the runsforcookies.com blog. I still read it, but it was really inspiring in the early posts.

Add an egg, seasonings, and saute to make rice cakes? Add to omelette with beans in the morning? Add to your smoothies? Make a stir fry? Make a casserole? Make a rice pizza crust?

Do you all have extremely long nipples, or are you just running insane mileage?

Agree with a lot of these people. Half-Size Me is a great podcast to listen to for motivation, if you're into that kinda thing. Just wanted to point out that I know you want to get the weight off, but take time and enjoy the journey! I mean, what's the rush? 2 lbs per week is a healthy rate, and you will get there…

There's a difference in support and advice, and some people don't get it. Just be specific, and if he still doesn't understand then go to someone else for support

I truly think it is based on your body and how it breaks things down. Why don't you try one and then the other and see how each work and make you feel? As someone who has taken many nutrition classes, here is what I think-- High fat seems to cut weight, but I don't want to be in ketosis. It's always been something I've…

I think the homogenization is where it sprays out of a tiny hole (kinda like a hairspray can) so that the fat globules are smaller. But definitely mechanical. Milk is pretty lightly processed. I like full fat dairy, and I think it is fine to use the low fat kind... I, personally, don't think milk is necessary for anyone…

The most exciting part for me was hitting BMI 29.9. I was SOOOO happy to be overweight, and not obese. Nobody talks about that.

Eat them cold. Some people like them warm, but what's the point of making them in advance? Quaker's website has a recipe. I just helped with a food demo on these at work. I love toasted coconut in mine. Some other options: Nuts, chocolate chips, flax/hemp/chia seeds, nut butters, nuts, fruit, honey, maple syrup, brown…

Mmm... Bring it to me.

My belt is getting looser! And my boobs are getting flatter haha

I have done all of these. Bolthouse Farms Ranch, Avocado Cilantro... Those are good. I prefer the ranch powder with sour cream and a little fat-free milk, if needed. Really good as a dip with crudités, too.

I highly doubt you are going to listen to any of this until you see some negative effects. Someone else said this in a different way, but it isn't just your show-off muscles that will diminish. The ones that we need to live such as your heart or respiratory muscles will also begin to lose strength and mass. If you are…

So, I'm definitely not a raw foodie. But I think nuts, seeds, soy, fruits, vegetables (especially dark green). And some research has shown that we are getting too much protein anyway. A kidney workout.

I think my ankles do better on the trails. I feel it will help with stability (core), and I don't think about the running as much because of the scenery and looking to make sure I don't die. I'm in GA, so lots of trails :) Shoes are a must. I tried to do it in my regular running shoes and that was a mistake! Thanks guys.…

I've always heard gaining was more difficult. Just think having to routinely eat more than your body wants. Sounds horrible to me. I'd rather have a little tummy growl than feel like I need to throw up all the time.
-
I like limp bacon... Just as a side note. Have any of you tried to brush your teeth after eating Oreos? Pointless. They're okay, but I'd rather have some homemade cookies. Like sea salt chocolate chip ones.

...and blended cabbage soup sounds horrible. This morning I was thinking, and you could definitely do smoothies, protein shakes, or some kind of pre-made drink such as Ensure if you are having trouble meeting your caloric goal.

I had an injury, too. That played a HUGE role in me gaining back the weight. Depression doesn't usually help, either.

I have no idea how tomato soup and applesauce are going to lead to 1200 calories. I'm not worried @newmeadow , but her responses make me think that she's hungry. Like the snickers commercials.

You need some fat and protein. Add oils to the soups, dairy products, blend up beans, etc. This is super restrictive. I don't think anyone was being accusatory. Its just good to know why so that we can answer your questions accordingly. The answers would be different if you had a toothache, if you had diverticulitis, etc.…

Your goal is 3lbs. That means you must be close to where you want to be. Things get more difficult at that point. Maybe try opening your diary so we can see what you're adding.

I think a lot of it is the failure to make a lifestyle change. Also, lack of a true goal. A lot of people have a goal of looking better in their ______. When that goal is met, they have no other reason to keep the weight off. Goals like being healthier for children, or so that my knees don't hurt when I walk, or because…

Recently, I have been taking the Fair Life milk, but I'm not sure if it is available in AU/UK. It has more protein per cup and no lactose. There is nothing wrong with skim/skimmed milk-- close to the same vitamin/mineral content-- macronutrients are different. And, I honestly don't think we NEED it, since we are the only…
