  • I don't push myself to the 1200 limit if I don't feel like it. Like today, I'm sitting at just under 800 and I'm not hungry. Might not be before bed either. If my body needed fuel, it would tell me. This is a rare occurrence and I think it's because I went overboard last night by a huge margin. I could easily eat just to…
  • Alcohol definitely ruins weight loss for me if I don't keep an eye on it. My husband and I have agreed to restrict drinking to the weekend and even then, no more of the mixed drinks, just wine mostly. One glass can easily fit into our calorie budgets.
  • 1-2 hours a night is fine. When I first lost weight, I did the same thing because I was in college so I would read homework assignments while walking on a treadmill. Now I will either listen to music or read and walk. It sounds like the app Misi is talking about is Couch to 5k. Definitely a good app to check out.

  • I have. I'm 5'3" and at 133, I thought I was fat. Now when I look back, I think, "Damn...I looked great." I am hoping that this time around I have learned my lesson.
  • "Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels." I think it's true. I would feel fantastic at a healthy weight while I only feel good while eating junk. After I'm done, I feel awful the rest of the day. It's not worth it.
  • Oh yes, they definitely do in many ways. When I was with my ex, I was so depressed and anxious that over the course of 3-4 years I put on 50 pounds. Now that I'm married to a wonderful man, we are both so content and happy that we've gained 20-30! Lol I've been trying off and on to lose again but he only recently joined me…
  • I fell off the wagon about 2 years ago.... I'd like some friends as well!
  • My husband and I are really bad at shopping so that helps. Lol Now that we are both onboard the weight loss train, junk food won't be coming into the house and since we rarely have an over abundance of food to begin with, there isn't much to dig into. To help with nighttime hunger, I try not to eat early since I've noticed…
  • Did you stay within your nutritional goals? Yes! Did I reach yesterday's personal goal? Yep! What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? I ate well and jogged. What would I have done differently? For once, nothing. What is today's personal goals? My goal was to walk my pups more. Mood today? Great! Sun - Mon - Tue - jogged…
  • One of my friends is waiting until the new year to start but I've been pretty consistently good for the past week. Gonna finish strong! I'm sticking to 1200 calories a day, walking my dogs, and jogging at home. I'm also slowly transitioning to a more paleo friendly way of eating.
  • I prefer jogging, although I didn't used to. Now it's my go to workout.
