Nah, don't be hard on yourself. Live and learn... And get back on track tomorrow like it never happened. Purging will make very little difference and you'll do much better if you just jump back on the wagon!

My weight loss is set to 0.25kg and has been since I started mfp! Sorry for not saying - the first few weeks were done using a different calculator, but I found it was inaccurate and had me losing 0.4/0.5kg even though again I'd set it to 0.25kg. I assume that weight lifting is responsible for my usual loss (almost every…

OH JEEZE I struggle to exercise (other than walking and yoga stretches) twice a week!
-
I usually have something like milk, warm milk with a tsp of nesquick or "hot ponyo" which is hot water, cinnamon and milk before bed...but I've been drinking it for the entire ten weeks and before then? Surely this couldn't affect it?
-
I actually got on the scale this morning and had lost 0.4kg! But I don't really want to take a break until at least my birthday which is just a few days more, just out of stupid fear of somehow swelling up like a balloon (which at the no of kcal I appear capable of eating atm, doesn't actually seem totally impossible -…

Have had a go at planning out tomorrow with meals I know I like and mostly have the ingredients for, with a bit of help from one of those online macro planners! I think it looks much better! My sugar is a bit high, but I assume it's not so bad due to most of my sugars coming from milk?

Thanks! I know I just need to buckle down and I think I'll probably start trying to have like a square of dark choc with strawberries instead of a biscuit. I should have known when they said "ice cream" it was all going to go a bit downhill because I do get a reckless sweet tooth if I start indulging in moreish foods!
-
I probably could! I am so grateful for this community part of mfp right now! Thanks so much because I really felt lost, so I probably would have just continued to let my eating get worse again and been one of those cases where the person tries to lose 10kg and ends up gaining 50! I was really scared to open my diary/admit…

Thank you btw, I should have said - I literally have a pen and paper to note down your advice (cut out sweets; make sure I'm sleeping etc.) and I know I am probably doing this all wrong aha, don't think you can't be harsh - I will take all advice or rows you can give me! I am a dieting mess ahahaha
-
Apart from the last week or so when I've given up, the sweet stuff was actually at the end of the day when I still often had a few 100kcal left to spare - I funnily enough didn't want to "stretch my stomach" by forcing anything more bulky in (people have warned me) and when I asked people suggested I "Have a bowl of ice…

@punkrockgoth it's the worst! I don't want to sound over dramatic but I feel like I'm dying! I don't tend to have problems staying in a healthy weight so I know it's harder for others who have worked so much harder than me, but I do not do well with hunger!!! I feel pathetic and just want to cry into a loaf of bread while…

@Veryana Funnily last night I probably only got 6 or so hours when I'm used to 8 or even 9, but before then recently other than waking up in the night because I was so huuuuungry (I think I had a bit of chicken and cheese on a cracker with a cherry tomato to try and keep kcal controlled and just get back to sleep) I've…

I take caffeine pills as a pre-workout sometimes because it gives me a boost and I tend to throw up coffee if I drink it before I head to the gym (in fact most foods and drinks other than water). Everyone will probably tell me why not to but it allows me to work out up to an hour longer per session with no "extra"…
-
I will only mix this brand with water usually (often birch sap-water) because most protein shakes make me gag when mixed with water! Everything else is usually best with milk or greek yoghurt!

Just keep doing what you're doing, relax and know you're doing great!

I have only skimmed this thread, but basically this woman wants you to think you need her method to lose weight. She hates the term CICO, because it reveals that you don't need anyone's book/product/advice or whatever to lose weight. Some people love LCHF lifestyles - I wont knock them if they're healthier and happier. I…

Take a banana to work for the bus? Or a tin of tuna with a pull-tab lid if the banana doesn't work!
-
I am led to believe that if you've been doing the same workout for long enough you'll be burning less calories (if you do the same intensity/speed/weight/etc), so if you are eating back your calories burned you're possibly not at as big a deficit as you believe! *experts correct me if I'm wrong haha
-
I'm not saying this is bad advice but I just want to edit this slightly: Don't do anything that hurts excessively. If I don't hurt, I probably didn't work out - whether I went to the gym or not, haha!
-
I go to the gym for around 2 hours (40-45 minutes rowing, 60-80 minutes lifting with a lot of that being rest time) M, T, T, F. Wed/Sat I'm usually pretty pooped, then on Sunday I'm usually active but don't officially workout.

I LOVE the booty. The reason I don't often pay attention to the booty is because a lot of men either don't have it or aren't flaunting it... But when they do I am majorly into it!

This. I take liquid iron so it's not really a pill, and occasionally a regular caffeine pill as pre-workout. You might as well have a cup of coffee instead, but personally find that coffee and energy drinks give me nausea during workouts!

Gluten free "Genius" bread, it has this slightly malted taste and is just yummy! I get a loaf only a few times a year though! My family get Warburton's white farmhouse and I know I shouldn't but will nick a slice or two - usually when I'm feeling self destructive or brave as it's delicious, but ends in a tummy ache!
-
The first thing that grabs my attention is a nice set of shoulders... Then I instantly have the urge to check his booty because those are my two favourites.

You already sound like a pro

Honestly I'd much more highly recommend Fitness Blender videos from youtube - like insanity it focuses on HIIT (high intensity interval training) and is free so if you can't stick with it, you didn't waste any money! Great that you're already going for walks!
-
Good luck! You can do this!

Please only take this as advice from someone who had to be told too, but the cost of healthy food versus Pringles and such often aren't too far apart. You don't need to cook - raw veg are great for you! I often slice carrots, celery and/or beetroot to eat raw! One step at a time, but if you start to push yourself to go for…

Oh, I recall that! To be honest I cut as much of sugar as I could for the first couple weeks, but kept moderate amounts of junk in slightly better choices. The symptoms will subside over time! And if you really need it consider making/learning to make healthier versions of the junk you'd usually have. It'll be more filling…
