I am 52 and run almost everyday, 4-6 miles. (Weather permits) I ran the last two days, and now taking today off. (I have to clean house) As long as weather permits I will be running on Friday.

My job is also very boring, and I also sit here 2-3 days a week for 8 hours. However, I watch Netflix all day long, that is how I make it through my day. I also scan the internet for job postings.

Slow and steady is the way to go. I myself have lost 7lbs in about 60 days. Don't have much to lose, however still have another 5 to go.

I also had a good physical job, and now a desk job, gained back 10lbs. Been on MFP for a while also, have already lost 7lbs. Log your food, watch what you eat, and workout. BTW, I'm from Michigan, near Detroit.

Nope, you are not the only one who is in their 50's. I have been logging my food for about 80 days now, and have lost about 7-8 lbs. I do also currently take vitamins, including extra vitamin D, and C, Biotin, Super vitamin B, and a Multi. It's a bit harder as we get older to lose weight, however get a plan and stick to it.

I have to force myself to drink it. I have to drink about 64 oz daily. Most of the time I can do this, however other days (like weekends) it's harder. Advice just chug it.
