  • Starting Spring shrub trimming today... with another day forecasting a high in the mid 90s. Shrubs ain't a gonna like that at all. But it's only gonna get hotter. While I don't much like working outdoors all day in this heat and humidity either, I will be dropping some pounds, even drinking 5 - 6 liters of water a day.

  • I wear a Fitbit Charge HR2 24/7. My post-retirement job in lawn maintenance is hard on that kind equipment, so a wear a terry cloth wrist band over the activity tracker to protect it. (Stylish, I know.) The results of nearly two months of 10 hour days, 6 days a week, in the US Midwest sun.
