Just checking in! I hit my target of 274 for Oct 31st! Woo! It looks like I am on track to hit 266 for Nov 30th. Right now I am sitting at 270. Yay!

I have pretty bad anxiety. At times it had been totally overwhelming. What has helped me is learning about what causes the symptoms of anxiety and knowing it is a physiological response and not my fault or something I can always control. I didn't know I was doing this until I looked it up. lol I dislike eating first thing in the morning so "breakfast" happens around 11 and I try not to eat beyond 7 or 8 (evening snacking is where I get off track). So I go 15 to 16 hrs between meals. This is just works for me right now.

I'm right there with you. I've been able to get down toast and a protein bar. I've lost 3lbs in 30 hours! Crazy... Hope you are feeling better soon!!

I use TVP in any recipe calling for ground beef. We use it several times a week actually. I put it in a frying pan with olive oil, onion, and garlic for a bit and then add it to pasta with cheese (this is the kids favorite). I can not imagine it tasting very good in a smoothie....lol

My doctor made it very clear that attempting to lose weight while pregnant was not ok. He suggested I eat my maintenance calories and adjust as it goes. You can add me! I have three children, the youngest is 6 months old. I don't know how long ago you gave birth but my first advice is to take it slow. Get used to your new normal and heal from birth. Thanks so much for everyone's replies! They are all so helpful. I will remember them when I am feeling rough from all the discomfort. One day at a time I guess!! If I can keep up pace I hope to feel better by Christmas! I truly can't wait to have my life back.

When my middle was 8 weeks old she was hospitalized for several weeks. The nurses became my world.
