Protein can help you feel fuller longer. If I eat a protein rich breakfast I won't feel hungry until lunch time rolls around. But if I eat a carb heavy breakfast my stomach will be grumbling by 9am. Even if the calorie count is the same.

Some digital scales pull your weight from memory if your weight hasn't changed by .5 pound. This can give the appearance of consistency.

I love chocolate + peanut butter, but it's too bad that Reese's is the apparent standard. They use the lowest grade factory chocolate and are filled with something you can't call peanut butter with a straight face.
