Loving squats too and deadlifts and presses. 2 months? That's amazing OP

You can do it. Mom of two young kids, 35, lost the weight but not happy with my belly that stuck out and rounded shoulders. 6 month in to strength training. I have a gym that offers child care. I need to post a pic...

Remember it doesn't need to be everyday. I'm enjoying barbell training and I find I can do it even with feeling tired and the rest days are important and yet I still feel the benefit. I also love Piyo. So now I have a schedule and I stick to it and I don't like missing. What do you enjoy doing?

You sound like an amazing dad, be kind to yourself, give yourself time and whatever else you need to heal, you can do it, but maybe how you get there will be different this time

Newborn phase I did you tube videos. Even though that often meant pausing them. I also put baby in a carrier and walked the dog, but went on tough trails with hills. Now I can go to a class and put baby in the play area. However, I am lucky because I have weights at home and this has been awesome to sneak a workout in once…

I use GymBook. It's simple and gives a demonstrations too. For starting out I've need reminders on each exercise.

I do one class a week which I love. So I couldn't say what the results are because I do weights and yoga on top of that class. But I think it's a good all around work out. I drip with sweat and love the challenge. So anything that keeps you that motivated is great.

I have a soda thingy and make fizzy water because I prefer that to plain and prob helps a bit. I snack on Greek yoghurt and peanut powder. Each day I make a big salad from red, green and Napa cabbage with shredded carrot and other raw things like broccoli and red pepper and keep in fridge. I make a big bottle of dressing…

I looked it up and it sounds awesome, you might find others by posting in the "challenge" section too?

I like fitness blender! I tend to do YouTube fitness videos as an accompaniment to lifting weights and a taught class or two each week. However the flexibility and variety is brilliant an makes it motivating and easy to incorporate. I'm new to it all too, so always on look out for good routines, so much out there!

I find it hard I get better results doing a guided workout. I'm gonna try some of the ones listed here, but the online ones Are perfect for home because you can determine the length and pause. Essential for me with a baby and toddler to respond to as required. I do these in addition to more intense workouts like lifting…

I appreciate this thread cos I don't have any major goals other than knowing I am really enjoy working out and am finding it more and more important to carve out the time. Sorry, my response was a little off from what you asked about. I am not sure on the ball thing. I nearly brought one to work during pregnancy for low back pain but didn't find it that comfy at home so just didn't bother. I hope your back feels better soon.

You can find yoga workouts that you can do without a yoga mat if you don't have the space. Yoga for your lunch break, office yoga, that kind of thing. Not sure if that'd be too much for your back to do gentle yoga for your posture and strengthen your core?

Fitness Blender has a Pilates workout that may be less noisy but still a good work out. Try googling PI YO, sweat dripping workout but low impact

Yup!

I came to the community section of this app today to find motivation throughout my day because that's what I need! Glad I saw this. I like your goal today and will join you. I will slow down and have some water or herbal tea if I feel hungry.
