5'9 here. Really just got started 2 weeks ago. So far have lost 10.5 lbs but get most of that is water weight. I am aiming at a 2-2 1/2 lb loss per week for the next 10 weeks then will slow that down to a lb a week. I started off 230.5 so have about 60 lbs to lose to get to a healthy BMI. I don't want to shell out the money for the Fit Bit yet so I use the iPhone tracker. Whether it's accurate or not I don't know but I do know it has helped me increase my activity and while it may log some steps that aren't really steps I also don't always have it on me so it misses a few steps. I like to think it evens out…

I took my before pics January 8th. I'm doing a 12 week challenge with some girlfriends online and there is money on the line. If I make the top 5 after 12 weeks I will have to show my before and after to be eligible for a prize

I cut up chicken, throw it in the crockpot with a can of black beans and a bottle of mild salsa, let it cook for 5 hours then serve over rice. My kid also eats it in a tortilla, like a burrito

Have a date night in and cook a new healthy recipe together. We did this last week and it was nice. We even went to the meat market together and oogled all the different options before making our choice. He is currently sending me links to try on our next date night in.
