I'm 5'3, 33, have a medium or large frame, and am naturally muscular. My current goal is 150 - technically overweight. Once I get close I'll reassess. I've always said that whatever is maintainable eating healthy without trying (no specific diet, calorie counting) and working out regularly is my goal weight. My body has…

I’m mildly obsessed with whipped cream cheese, particularly the chive flavour. Pair that with some Water crackers, pretzels or your preferred low calories crunchy thing. Delicious.

5’3, currently 207 but started at 240. I also have PCOS. I’ve found I lose without much effort as long as I stick to my calories, set at -1lb/week.

I went a off track for Nov-Jan and regained about 10lbs. Current goal is to lose those 10lbs and get back below 200. Should get there by the end of Feb.

I did it! It's exciting and I'm proud of myself, it's also a bit anticlimactic (which is fine). SW: 240 CW: 198.8 GW: 150 (top of goal range)

I find cooked chicken in the food list and add that.

If you're losing 1lb every 2 days you're doing great on your own. If you need to up that to 50lb in 2 months, only do that with a dietitian and MD following you. Doing it wrong could be extremely damaging, and doing it properly is very complicated.

PCOS here. On Metformin and Diane 35. Never had any side effects. I've lost 40lbs in 2 years (took breaks but never gained back more than 5lbs). I count calories but I do not restrict anything. I generally eat lower GI foods, but not only. I eat plenty of carbs, I just try to make them good ones. I don't have a huge sweet…

Right now my goal weight is a 20lb range (not sure where in there I'll level out), but I'll ultimately a 5-10lb range.

I think "don't diet" means eat healthy, don't follow a specific diet. Diets often don't work and result in weight being put back on. You're overweight but not obese and if there are no underlying health conditions, there's no immediate medical need that necessitates radical change. If I had to guess "be realistic" means…

Weekdays - 2 pieces of whole wheat toast with peanut butter or whipped cream cheese and honey or raspberry jam. Cup of coffee, and another when I get to work Weekends scrambled eggs with toast is a common thing. Or toast with PB, banana, honey and a bit of cinnamon.

Personally I'm not dealing with that, and I'm so sorry you are. None the less, I can promise you 1000% that you are NOT the only dealing with those struggles. People with mental health issues are some of strongest people I know. I don't know you, but I'm pretty sure you fall in that category too.

If I'm adding it to a recipe I weight it raw. If I'm eating basically as is (hamburgers, baked chicken breast) I weigh it cooked.

Trader Joe's. So many great items.

You probably won't gain as much as you think. - you walk a ton in Europe - The diet tends to be very healthy. Even with the butter. - Portions tend to be smaller I spent 2 weeks in Argentina eating churros and steak and I think I gained like 2lbs. Just be realistic and healthy-ish and most importantly ENJOY. You'll feel…

I'm at 201 and these are the most obnoxious 2lbs ever. Not because they're more difficult, but when you can see the target it's just like "oh my god, hurry up already!" *Not final target, the first of 3.5 (3 actual, the final one is sort of an "I'll figure it out when I get there" so I only count it as half)

Lentil soup is probably my favourite. 100s of variations, all so good. Lots of good beans soups too. All of them are flexible and forgiving

I say either get the BigMac or go elsewhere. Life's too short for McDonald's salad.

Recently I switched my drink to vodka soda with a splash of cranberry and a lime wedge. It's about 100cal or so (don't remember but it's in the directory).

Hey Jim. You got this.

To those of you that gave informative nonjudgmental answers, thank you. To the rest - Do not insult someone seeking information for their betterment. Do not insult me based on literally no information (I didn't provide nearly enough for someone to extract that I'm undernourished and underfed). I know what I'm doing (and…

What do you mean balancing calories?

Btw I use fitlist to track my workouts and so far I love it.

I use fitlist for my workouts but I only understood part of your question so now sure it's appropriate.

Just over 5lbs to go. Ugh.

Thanks everyone. Congrats and good luck on continued success. Feel free to keep posting though.

Yes. I'm very overweight with PCOS, mentioning it is literally their job. If it didn't come up they wouldn't be doing their job. There's always a conversation the first visit, but my MDs have always treated me like an adult - "you need to lose weight because xyz" I tell them I know and I'm working on it and it becomes a…

Thanks. It's taken me 2 years to lose 40lbs, but there have been a lot of very long breaks, and I've never gained back more than 5lbs so I consider it successful. The reason I put that in is because while the frequency and quantity may change, pizza and cake and chips, etc, are never going to be out of the picture for me,…
