That's true. I kept hoping my body would resolve this itself, but no dice. I haven't had to plant using the heavy trays again, but I have still been using my hands a lot. I made an appointment to see the doctor today. Hopefully it's productive

Okay, thanks. Theres a chiropractor in town, would he be helpful? I asked here first because I wondered if it might be something simple.

About to finish the whole 30 and hop over to keto. I try to keep my carbs at 100 or lower, but will drop them to 50 when I start the Keto diet. Add me!

My weight loss is slow too, despite exercise and eating right. But you do have to defecit 3500 calories to equal one pound of fat burned off. If you're burning more than you're eating, that's good, but remember its gonna have to add up to 3500 before you really get a whole pound of fat off. You're doing a healthy, steady…

Calories is top most important, but you have to make sure you balance your carb/fat/protein intake. Healthy carbs from veggies are fine, but I would avoid the heavy stuff like bread and potatoes. From what I've learned, your body uses carbs ingested as an immediate fuel source. So, when you eat carbs, instead of using…

I've done both, and as others said, diet is key too. I've gone to the gym 4x times a week and dieted, and lost weight. And then another time, I've jogged/walked 4x a week and lost a similar amount of weight. Calorie deficit is your friend. Each pound of fat is 3500 calories, so as long as you're burning more than you eat,…

I'll be a partner, but I have already started, if that's an issue. I'm on day 8!

I had an extra heart rate monitor attached to me at the time I was on a full out run and the Garmin was reading me stuck at 110 bpm when my heart rate was really 170 (and honestly you can tell the difference between 110 and 170 without needing an extra reader). That and it would disconnect when i stepped a few feet away…

It wasn't a year But I had a vivosmart HR that stopped reading HR after 2 years so I bought a Vivoactive 3, which I returned after a week. I've had a Fitbit clip from work for a while so I just started using it 6 months ago while I looked for a better one.

You sound really driven, working out hard after an injury! Impressive! My weight has started to go back the other direction, annoyingly slow, and same as you, I still have about 5lbs refusing to be lost. I haven't taken any progress photos of late because I've been so discouraged, but I wonder if maybe I could see a…

Hello all! Sorry for the late post, I apparently don't have my notifications set up on here. I knew that you would gain weight at the beginning, but mine is taking an awfully long time to start going the reverse way. Finally this morning, it looks like I've dropped a few and my belly looks slightly smaller. I have a food…

The macronutrient split comes from a diet study I volunteered in in college. It was 20% carb, 30% fat, and 50% protein. Along with exercise, I was able to lose 22lbs in 6 months. Now that I'm trying to do this again, I can't seem to eat the right balance and get enough calories. 100-150 seems more achievable to me, because…
