I am actually offended by this. If you can't have a talk with him about it, then what makes you think it's okay to talk about him behind his back? If you're not happy with the way he looks, then take charge of his nutrition and start making healthier meals.

I had to find a new Rheumatologist when the old one refused to believe that Remicade was the cause, despite 10 different specialists in the hospital all saying the same thing. I'm not familiar with Azathioprine.
-
@singingflutelady Remicade put me in the hospital with drug induced Lupus, fluid around my heart and left lung. I'm currently on Otezla, Methotrexate and Folic acid.

I personally like it with a little miracle whip

Yes, I'm on biologics. To date I've been of 5 and all of them have failed. I'm waiting for a prior-auth to come through for, yet another, infusion drug.
-
I'm also interested in knowing this. I have Psoriatic Arthritis and my Rheumatologist want's to put me on it but I told him no-way-jose! I've heard, and known, people who have gained weight while on it, and since this would be a long-term thing for me I don't want to take that risk when I'm trying so hard to loose weight,…

OMG I tried these 2 ingredient cookies. Mashed ripe banana and rolled oats. I added some truvia and cinnamon and a touch of salt. The recipe said they are best right out of the oven so that's how I tried it... OMG they were gross. I would much rather eat a bowl of steel cut oatmeal with some cinnamon.

Hi everyone! I think it's great that your all banding together to help keep each other going! Somehow I've ended up with a large number of 'friends' but only a few of us actually cheer each other on. I would love to add you guys for motivation and to motivate. I am an active user, I log in several times a day and post my…

I took a quick peek at your food diary. You really need to log your food, that way you can see where your calories are going and make changes accordingly. If you're a meat and cheese eater, then eat them, just smaller portions or every other day. Try filling up on veggies and whole grains. Water also helps... a lot!
-
That is so awesome! You must feel so accomplished. Good for you!
-
Your body needs a certain amount of carbs to function properly. With that being said, there are several reasons why you've gained. You're probably building up some muscle mass which will tip the scale, retaining water, eating to many calories, etc. CICO is the best way to approach this. Give it time, I personally don't…

Gentle hugs from me. Ice what you can, if there's swelling. Try soaking in a nice hot bath with Epsom Salt and some rosemary essential oil. Hope you recover quickly!
-
Or better yet, filling out your whole day with enough calories that you don't have such an excess at the end of the night and are left feeling unsatisfied?
-
What about having some plain greek yogurt with a tablespoon of strawberry jam? I find the yogurt fills me up.
-
Fit into my new skinny jeans without having fat hanging over them, and put on a smaller shirt and didn't have to stretch it out to hide my stomach.
-
Hidden Valley Ranch makes a mix especially for Greek Yogurt. It's really good.
-
Before you commit yourself to buying a lot of it see if there's a sample packet that you can try first. There's also pea protein.
-
This may seem stupid, but have you tried different types of protein powders?

I don't feel comfortable sharing my history in such a public forum, but I do have a history. If you would like to add me, feel free.

Are you taking a multi-vitamin, I know mine helps me.

I pre-log every morning. It helps me see where my calories are going and to help structure my day. I also meal prep so that meals become easier to stick to. The only 'variable' for me is dinner where I need to figure out what I'm making my husband and I for dinner. But by pre-logging I can see how many calories I can…

I love mine. It's a constant reminder to stay on track and to push myself. I also love the sleep tracking as I have insomnia and was able to go over my records with my doc and work out a plan of action. One thing that I've found though is that it asks if you're wearing it on your dominant or non-dominant hand. At first I…

I don't have these cravings as often as I used to but when I do feel that way I suck on a sugar free hard candy... Peppermint usually does the trick, so does butterscotch or Werther's. Good luck!

Mine... Red hair and blue eyes

Welcome back! Take it one step at a time and you'll be moving forward, in a positive direction. A battle is won by winning the small skirmishes, you can do this. For me the first step was accountability. I logged everything, the good and the bad and I started to see that I wanted to spend my calories on better nutrition…

I love to encourage and motivate, and appreciate the same in return. Feel free to add me, but please send me a message when you do.

Bumping this up. Was well worth reading. Thank you all for stepping out, it's very frustrating (to the point that I avoid most topics in the forums) to read and re-read the same things over and over again. Stop being a 'victim' and take control of your life. Educate yourself and do something about it.

Delaware now, but WA State will forever be my home

You can try Shirataki noodles
