I've used light sour cream with tuna and I prefer it to mayo.

This happened to me last April. It was before it was an official sympton so I couldn't get tested but it happened to my husband at the same time so, what else is it gonna be? It was a good couple of months before I got any taste or smell back. I dropped about 25lbs from my already heathy weight because food lost all…

* CICO: I eat what I want. * Flexitarian: I don't like meat that much and I don't cook it at home. * OMAD / intermittant fasting: I'm more satisfied eating a large quantity at once rather than spread out throughout the day. * Calorie cycling: I eat at more of a deficit some days so I can eat more on others (cheat/treat…

I appreciate that and I'm just fine, thank you :) I still don't have much taste but I didn't have any other symptoms for the most part so I count myself lucky.

Well, food became less appealing when I lost my taste so I dropped 13lbs pretty quickly :D Didn't think I'd ever be in the situation of trying to keep my weight up! On a less dramatic note, I got into an even better walking routine while I was off work. At least 3 miles a day for the past 14 weeks, usually more.

Around 35,000. I'd love to do a Forrest Gump one day and see how many I could rack up.

I have this too. I've lost 80lbs and can't afford to lose anymore weight so, it's here to stay. I'm sure the visual isn't helped by loose skin but mostly, it's just how my body is.

Cereal. I'll eat a big bowl (no milk) as breakfast or dessert and will almost always want to go back for another, once the box is open. Starting to regret importing a 50oz bag of Tootie Fruities now ...

However, if you're from a country that doesn't use HFCS, you can really, really tell.

Size, sure. Shape, not so much. But 18 months ago I was another 12lbs lighter than this and I wasn't any happier (my face looked too gaunt) so I'm pretty content to stay here. I've been overweight since my early teens and yoyo dieting for 10 years. At this point I've let go of the notions of having a flat stomach or firm…

I eat whatever I want on the day of (e.g. Christmas) without logging. I do try to get some decent exercise in like a long walk but that's just what I do anyway. Then I try to get right back into a regular logging routine straightaway. As for events like meals out or hot chocolates with friends or Christmas markets, I just…

This. But I do sleep between 4am and 12pm so yeah.

I eat 3x per day and at more or less at the same time so I know when the next meal is coming and don't obsess about it too much. Works for me.
-
Honestly, I just don't even think about it. If I commit to being "good" for a month or so after returning, there's no long term damage done.
-
Nope, this doesn't happen to me. I can still eat huge and heavy meals, no problem. Kind of wish I couldn't; maybe then they wouldn't be so apealing!

I lost decent chunks of weight (40lbs/50lbs) twice and put it all back on -- plus smaller ups and downs in between -- over the course of about 7 years before I reached my highest weight 2 years ago. I don't know what made this time different but I'm down over 80lbs this time and I know that I'm never going back!
-
This, so much.
-
Whyever not? ;) That's what I'll be doing on my birthday in a few weeks. Seriously though, I do this every now and again and it's all good as long as I get right back on track.
-
As long as you enjoyed it then that's awesome. Just be sure to get right back on track and it shouldn't be detrimental to your goals. :)

About 350: 40g of Cheerios with milk and a banana.

I have always struggled with feeling full but lately I've found a big bowl of porridge made with skimmed milk to be very satisfying.

I spent most of last year hovering between 150lbs and 140lbs. This year I just decided it was time to just do it and I've gone from 149 to 137, with just a pound or two more to go. Honestly, I'm so used to eating in a deficit that it hasn't been hard to just buckle down that little bit more. I ate at a deficit for most of…

I drink 2 litres (4x500ml bottles) per day which, I've just discovered, is 70oz so almost spot on for half my body weight. I've been drinking the same amount daily for the past 2 years though. Sometimes I drink an extra 500ml. I don't really notice a difference in how it makes me feel, it's just what I do.

ILY. I could've written this post.

I do "cheat" days (I don't call them that, I'm not cheating). I like to eat a bunch of tasty things at once rather than fitting them in (usually at the expense of something more filling). Once a week is a bit too frequent for me but I do them every now and again. I'm down over 80lbs so they've had no significant negative…
-
I have "cheat" days (hate that term) where I eat whatever I want, no holds barred, and they haven't prevented me from losing 80lbs. As long as I keep them infrequent and get right back on track the next day, they're not a problem for me. I don't do it because I'm restricting too hard in my daily life, I just prefer to…

It's part of my routine so it's just something I do, whether I feel like it or not.
-
I started on 1400 calories at the same stats (5'7" and 220lbs) so it sounds about right to me. While I didn't eat my exercise calories back, it's also totally okay to do so.
-
Yep, I do this. I actually manually log any Fitbit calorie burn over my MFP maintenace TDEE as exercise on here, so I can see the deficit more plainly.
