I'm a Christian father of 3. Please add me if you would like.

You can add me if you'd like. I'm 44 and have been on here since the beginning of the year. Learned a lot so far and have lost 19 of the 104 pounds I'm working to lose.

Awesome! Great job for you and your family!

Good luck! You can do it!

I had completely beat myself into the ground by the time my mom passed. It took me a couple months to realize it and regroup. But now I'm on the right path! I've definitely been guilty of walking laps around the house to get my steps and stairs in! Craziness or dedication? Either way we are burning calories!

Great job! Roll on through year 2!

I'm always up to compete!

I'm fairly new to MFP, but have had some success in my first month. Please feel free to add me. I am on here quite a bit, would like to have a few laughs through this struggle, and keep my diary open.

Congratulations! That is an accomplishment that I look forward to down the road!! I just got out of the morbidly obese range, so I have a lot more work ahead.

That is an awesome first month!! I've got 84 more to go myself! Keep up the great work! The end will be worth it!

Thanks! MFP is an awesome app with tons of support!

Awesome job and very motivational!!! Of the hundreds of SUCCESS stories yours is the one that helped me to see that I'm on the right path! Thank you!

Thanks! I know that I'm in for a long battle to get where I want to be, but I'm up for it!

Thanks! Once I got through the first week of dragging my butt out of bed, it's gotten a lot easier! I even look forward to it now!! I'm definitely obsessed with my Fitbit!!!

Thank you! For once in my life, this is a lifestyle change, not just a diet. I'm amazed at how much better I feel already and can't wait to see how much better I will feel minus a lot more weight by this time next year!

Thank you! I'm sure cutting soda out completely and cutting calories quite a bit has helped. Along with walking. I can honestly say that I haven't been hungry at all in the past month. Some days I eat some of my exercise calories back if I feel like it and other days I don't. I just try listen to what my body is telling me.

Thank you! It's been a lot of "work", but it has been work that I have wanted to do! MFP is an awesome tool!

Thank you! I have gotten so much inspiration from reading the MFP Success Stories over the past month! Hopefully I can inspire some folks along the rest of my journey.
-
Thank you! It is a start that I am very proud of and I will definitely keep rolling!
-
Thanks! Hopefully, if it turns out the way I envision, this will be an awesome journey! It's been great so far!
-
Thank you! This is a rest of my life change, not a fad diet or a momentary burst of exercise.
-
Thanks! I'm not good at all at putting myself first, but it was way past time! I look at it now as an investment in my kids lives as well, becoming a better example.
-
Thank you! It's definitely been a change of lifestyle, but it's been good eating similar foods - just less of them!

I've got about the same story as yourself and others. I started December 27 and have lost 20 pounds in those 4 weeks. Staying the course the first couple of weeks was tough, but once I learned that my calorie intake was going to get me to 300 pounds really soon, the light bulb turned on. I've learned to eat healthier, but…
