Congratulations! Great job! Keep it up!

I started at 284 eleven weeks ago and I am down to 251 currently. I hope to get pretty close to 50 pounds in 4 months - that's the current goal at least. Edit: I am a 44 year old male, 6'1"

Feel free to add me. I can check off the jogging, daily logging, dog lover, mountain trekker and drinking enough water to pee on command in 27 minutes.

I started C25K last Friday. Day 1 was not too much fun, but day 2 was a lot better. Day 3 of week 1 is tomorrow. I'm attempting to do a 5K at the end of May.

Patience - it took a long time to put the weight on, so it's not coming off in 2 weeks. CICO - If you burn more calories than you eat you will lose weight over time. Do starve - I tend to lose more if I keep my calories up relative to my exercise. Normal foods - I can eat normal foods (I don't have to "diet"). Just eat…

Mine is not syncing this morning as well. I've disconnected MFP from Fitbit and that didn't fix it, so I'm guessing it's a bug.

This one is awesome! I cant wait to get home tonight to share these with my wife!
-
This one wins! But I love the commitment!

I don't think so, but with snow and ice in my world today I'm sure my wife will do some serious Google searching tonight as I pace around the living room!
-
I've done everything. Multiple trips with laundry piles, pace through the house, jog in place, walk around my house at night (inside and outside), multiple trips to copier at work, walk around the upper deck of my kids basketball games, pace in circles in a lobby. My wife thinks I need to find a rehab facility that deals…

You can do this! I can relate to all of what you said. The thing that I have learned over the last 2 months on here is that YOU have to want to do it for YOURSELF. Others can help you, guide you, and keep you motivated, but you have to be selfish and want to accomplish this for yourself. You have to want to do it for you…

I'm about 50-50. I can't really say what makes me go one way or the other with each book. I do probably prefer my Nook for reading at night in bed.
-
Everyone can feel free to add me. I eat a pretty normal diet - just less of it - and keep my diary open.
-
Great job! Congratulations! Good luck on the rest of your successful journey!!

I cook them in the oven like a baked potato and put a little bit of brown sugar on it.
-
I usually weigh every day or two, but I only log my weight on Sundays.

Sadly I am right there with you. Freaking out if I have forgotten to put it back on after a shower to doing laps at night in the living room to get in a few more steps. #ucanttouchthis

I'm 44, and I'm old now. Lost 27 pounds so far with a lot more to go to get young again. Always looking for new motivational friends.

I've been going since December 27. I'm currently down 27 pounds. Hoping to lose at least 104 pounds total!

Added!

Feel free to add me. I'm on here a lot and have an open diary. I can always use more encouragement.

I've lost 27 pounds + so far since December 27. All that I have done is walk around 15,000 steps most days, stretch for 30 minutes daily and track my calories on MFP. I'm hoping to lose a total of around 110 pounds by the end of 2016. Next week I'm planning on starting to clean up my diet quite a bit as well. I've been…

Welcome to MFP! This is a great tool. I've been on here for just under 2 months and have lost 27 pounds so far. I still have 80 or so pounds to go to get in my goal range. Feel free to add me.

Congrats on your success so far! I'm working my way into starting to run. I've just been walking so far my first 2 months to get to a more comfortable weight and to lessen the chance of injury. I hope to compete in a couple 5K's in late summer and early fall. The ultimate goal is to be able to complete a half marathon next…

I try to drink at least 88 ounces of water per day. I don't think I've made it to a gallon yet in a day. I used to drink soda all day long and never drank any water before I started MFP. I now always carry a bottle with me all day long. A gallon is a lot of water in one day. I've noticed that as I have upped my water I…

Mine is open, feel free to add me!

I think I'm pretty active on here - and I usually find me funny - Feel free to add me!

I've had it in both feet for a while. I'm fine as long as I work on it daily. Rolling a golf ball, frozen water bottle, can of food, etc along with a lot of calf stretching usually keeps me problem free.

You are missing the "rush" that you get from working out and also feel guilty for slacking all at once. Like Kimo159 said, life happens. I've been on MFP for 1 month now and lost around 25 pounds. My best week of weight loss so far was my worst week of training? At times you have to listen to your body when it needs rest.
