I agree! I add 1- cheat day a week. It shakes up the metabolism ( I think?) I don't go totally crazy! Approx: An extra 500-600 calories than my usual 1200 for one day only. I really like the special k brown sugar protein cereal! 3/4 c. 110 calories - I will put it in a bowl and snack on it while I watch tv- it does tear up the roof of my mouth! Lol but who cares!

I think its an age/ horomone thing - the belly fat - can be estrogen dominance. I use progesterone cream and it really helps w/ belly fat. There is a lot of information / quiz's online to see if you are estrogen dominant. I highly suggest checking them out. It has helped me tremendously!!

Just the consistent 1200 calories you should drop approx 2 lbs a week maybe more in the beginning. I workout 3 days a week and stick to 1200 cal. And I have lost 3 lbs a week on average. Of course age etc would factor in too. I'm 43

If my daily calorie goal is 1200 - I thought adding an extra 600 was crazy!! And really how accurate is an app at knowing exactly how many calories you burned? Btw- I always have a small protein shake after a workout it helps w/ hunger. 100 calories

If you are being 100% honest and not cheating - then you need to shake things up a bit - your body is adapting to what you are doing. Change the foods you are eating. I don't understand why you are only doing cardio and not pushing yourself at the gym? Add some exercises with weights!! The more muscle you have the more fat you burn. Don't worry your not going to get huge like Arnold!! Remember no pain no gain!
