YOU LOOK FABULOUS!!! Congratulations girl, this is fantastic progress. You're one of many folks I've seen who have had great success with crossfit - I've really been considering it! Keep it up

I would highly suggest extra firm tofu - I hate gooey tofu. I've never actually dried it I always just pull it out of the container, drain the liquid and start preparing. My favourite ways to use tofu are in these recipes: https://minimalistbaker.com/spaghetti-squash-lasagna-bake/…

So honestly, my best suggestion to you is not to focus on the fact you have so much to lose. When I started losing right after Christmas in 2016 I told myself that I was going to lose 20lbs by Easter, and then see if I could lose more after that even though my SW was 270lbs. Now, as of October 1st I'm down 50lbs in 9.5…

My birthday is on October 18th as well! Happy almost birthday!

Hey! I'm 23 (in two weeks) from Ontario, Canada. I started losing weight in December 2016 slowly yet surely. I just hit my 50lbs mark last week and hope to lose another 20lbs before 2017 is over! SW: 270lbs CW: 220lbs GW: 199lbs UGW: to be determined Feel free to add me

So I personally have a similar pace in my running. I started C25K and ran my first 5K on August 26. I'm currently training for a 10K on November 4 so I'm running 3 days per week - Tuesday (5K), Thursday (3.5K), Sunday (increasing from 5.5K to 10K the weekend of my run - this Sunday I run 7.5K). My pace in my first 5K was…

About me: Age: 22, 5"10 SW: 270lbs on Dec 27/16 CW: 220lbs on Oct 1/17 My current goal is to be at 199lbs by the end of the year - but I'm not going to beat myself up if I can't get there. I've hit some massive personal goals which includes running a 5K Race back in August! I'm currently training for a 10K the first…

Ah girl it's amazing to see your progress pictures! Seems like your goals are similar to mine. I started December 2016! SW: 270lbs -- December 27, 2016 CW: 220lbs -- October 1, 2017 GW: 199lbs -- December 31, 2017 (I HOPE!!) Congratulations and keep working at it

I'm 5"9 and hit my heaviest in December 2016. I haven't had a weigh in since July 22, 2017 so my stats are slightly off. I weigh in Monday (we don't keep a scale in the house so I only weigh in on visits to my parents' house). My current goal is to be under 200lbs by January 2018, 71lbs in a year felt like a reasonable…

Hey! I'm 22 and have lost 40lbs between December and July (weigh in for August is Monday!) I'm anticipating having another 25-30lbs to lose by the end of the year. Feel free to add me :)

Running my first ever 5K this past weekend, and finishing it in under 40 minutes!!

I'm in Ontario and I've lost 31lbs so far with a minimum goal of another 39lbs by Christmas. If I lost 55lbs by Christmas that would be even better. I'm in, feel free to add me

I need to lose at least 70lbs to get to 200lbs and then will re-evaluate the rest after that. Currently down 31lbs, feel free to add me :)

I really love C25K. I find the timer piece keeps me accountable and gives me a good idea of where I can increase my speed. For example I'm on Week 3 Day 2 and today I increased my speed on my two 90s running intervals, paced myself for my two 3m intervals and then I've been pushing myself at the end so I actually ran…

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cheesecake or a pint of If I Had a Million Flavours Ben & Jerry's. I need these extra cals now, hand em over!

I love these comments but sometimes they can be so uncomfortable! I had a coworker comment that my face looks thinner and pointed to her chin (which I can only imagine is my slowly decreasing double chin). And yesterday I had a coworker I'm relatively close and familiar with say "Emily, great job losing that poundage" and…

I don't weigh in regularly because we don't keep a scale at the house. I'm scale-obsessed and my partner is in recovery from an ED. Typically I weigh in once per month, and I adjust my calorie goal to be slightly lower than the recommended goal (only 50-75kcal less) and then when I go home to visit my folks I weigh in. I…

SW: 270 CW: 247.9 I know I haven't been active in the group but you guys gave me my first short goal for a total of 22.1lb lost! Though this was after two days of heavy Easter eating so I'm anticipating it's actually around 25lbs in total - just can't weigh in every day as we have no scale. Thanks for this folks!
-
I started at 270lbs in December. Currently down 21.4lbs (weighing in monthly, my next weigh in is on Monday so I hope it to be a bit higher!). My first major goal is to be under 200lbs and then see from there. I'm anticipating trying to lose ~100lbs in total. My diary is open and I post frequently if you want to add me :)

I also save my calories for my largest meal of the day - dinner - I try to come home from work at 4:30 with 1100/1900 kcals remaining so I can have a tiny 100kcal snack, and have plenty of room to have a big dinner. If we end up making something low cal like zucchini noodles, then I've left myself room for a surprise treat!

I've only allowed myself to have one beer in the last 99 days I've been logging and it has been ROUGH. Although, now as I'm thinking about it, it has gotten a lot easier. I haven't had any pop or juice during this time either and I think I've just adapted to not drinking my calories!

I keep trying to quit and keep failing! I've been smoking since 13 - now 22 - and the most I've gotten up to smoking was 3 packs a week. Currently, I'm smoking between 1.5-2 packs a week. I quit December 30 and started back Jan 30 because for me it's all stress related. I had a lot of pressure from work and let myself…

I've never tried the cabbage soup as a diet, but I do LOVE making the soup. I find that it's something that helps me to cut calories out while still stay full so I can afford myself more calories for dinner or a snack. One week, I made the soup because I wanted to make and devour these peanut butter bars so every day I'd…

Thanks everyone! I do lots of low calorie replacements - cauliflower rice, zuchinni noodles, low far everything from milk to cheese and yogurt. Vegetable straws over chips. Halo Top vs. Ben and Jerry's. So on days when I do eat out and still maintain a deficit, or even just eat at maintence (once in 85 days so far I…

I've been living in Hamilton, Ontario for the last five years but originally from Sarnia, Ontario!

Hey! I'm 22, so far lost 13/71 pounds towards my goal of 199. After that I'm not sure what my goal weight will be but I'm expecting a ~100lbs loss overall I hope. My partner is vegan so I post a lot of our vegan recipes, my diary is open and I'd love to have supportive people as well. Feel free to add me :)

Feel free to add me! 13lbs down, 58lbs to go to onderland (199lbs) and then onward from there!

Hi everyone! I started 68 days ago at 270lbs, and at my last weigh in two weeks ago I was down to 256.9, not bad! My diary is set at 1920kcal a day, which is just between -1 and -1.5 a week. I originally started at 2020 and will continue to work down slowly. My goal started as dropping 20lbs by Easter which I don't see…

I think I know how you feel to an extent. I was steady at my weight for 3 years, still very overweight but I was tired of trying to lose any and tried to move on to acceptance. Then, over the last 2 years (but the majority in the last 8mo) I gained almost 50 pounds. I weighed in at my heaviest - 270lbs. So I told myself I…

Saved this one for later! Thanks for sharing.
