• I believe in Carbs In Carbs Out. If you consume less than you burn, you WILL lose weight. It is just very hard to keep that up for a long time. If you are good with it, and it is working... stick with it. I have a low-carb, high-fat, moderate protein way of eating. Fat gives you the feeling of being full. Fat also can not…
• Thanks... I have no idea what I did to get so lucky! @MissionEnforcer Friends with the entire team! @mswanger09 "Happy Anniversary!" @cardbucfan You can still post pics. We ALL love pics. Post some!

• Ok... I am from Okotoks, Alberta. It is a small town outside of Calgary. We have the mountains to the West and the prairies to the East. I still believe I live in one of the best counties in the world, in on of the best provinces in the country, outside of the best city in the province, on a beautiful piece of land. My…

• @TamiJo1004 I put a comment in the cell as I fill out the spreadsheet. That way I don't forget about entering the minutes and it prevents me from double entering as well. Some other people do that as well. You really out to check out what @wolvinnetje did today. Seriously impressive. Game on!

• Did you say dog lover? I think you might find some good company here. Congrats on the half. Not an easy task. I'll do a better intro later... just good to be back. Good to see so many returning players. Our expectations are high... particularly since we are #1!

• I like challenges and shared accountability. When I am down, I spend a ton of time on this board to remind me of the benefits and help me through it all. When I first started Keto, I read every message a bunch of times. I also join challenges to get me focused and busy. I just joined another challenge. I did the same one…
• When you get mad at your spouse for buying the good lean pork roasts instead of the yummy well marbled cheaper better roasts. Much much better after a quick soak in a marinade.
• When you ask your overnight guests whether they want 3 or 4 eggs for breakfast.
• Is MissionEnforcer ready? How many people have signed up so far? Are you looking for more? Vowder
• Pulled out my exercise mat. It seemed to have disappeared sometime while I was eating croissants in Europe this summer. Pull out my running shoes. They have already gotten a pretty good workout since I signed up for the race. Starting tracking in MFP. Well... I will start today. I'm targeting to lose 15lbs during the race.…
• Should I be buying dancing shoes? I saw of video of myself doing yoga the other day. Hmmmm..... I erased it. Still, have a way to go. Looking forward to getting started. Vowder
• The hardest part for me was how to eat breakfasts and lunches without bread. Took a really long time for me to figure that out. Once I settled on a good breakfast and lunch, I ate that almost everyday so that I only had to worry about 1 meal a day. That made the transition much easier.
•
Weight you've lost x 3500 = calories kicked to the curb. At least, that's what I used to get mine number. 619,500
Amazing!
• WOW.... Congrats
• 360,500
• The last little while... I wake up... Work out (1 - 2 hours of fat burning cardio) Wait until lunch to eat. Then a big salad with lots of protein on top.
• There is a book called Primal Endurance that talks about the science and how and why it works. Great read. There are more and more athletes that are switching to low carb. Once your body is "fat adapted", in that it can burn your fats for fuel, you will never run out of calories. Just think about it, at 3,500 calories/lb…
• Welcome to the group. When you discover HFLC you will wonder where it was your whole life. I've lost over 100 lbs now at a rate of about 3.5lbs/week. I am below my target weight although I have decided that I ought to keep going since I still feel I have some room. I enjoy my coffee every morning with high fat whipping…
• Where do you go to get one done?
• I pay for premium. I like not having the ads, particularly on my cell phone. I really like the service and am willing to pay a modest amount for it. I am not on auto renew so I am not concerned about paying for a service I don't use.
• Just crossed the 100lb lost this morning. I'm not home so it is tough to get comparable photos. I'll try to take a couple tonight and post them.
• @WBB55 Wow... okay that explains some things. With 2 pills, I thought I was taking 2000 mg. If I'm only taking 760... that is why I can still get light headed if I stand up too quickly on heavy workout days. Thx
• NACL isn't that salt?
• My daughter made these awesome keto cake pops. Don't miss cake anymore. I do however miss yogurt parfaits. Love yogurt and fruit with a little granola. Gotta say that I am no longer craving carbs... miss them on occasion.... but don't crave them at all.
• I bought salt pills. 1g of salt in pill form. Take 2 with my vitamins... solves the whole issue.
• I used to eat as little salad as possible. Just the minimum and never enjoyed them. Only ate them because I thought they might be good for me... or because it would look awkward if I didn't put any on my plate. Now, and I don't know why... I crave salad. I look forward to a great salad. I anticipate a good salad. I can…
