Oatmeal or cream of wheat with real butter and a bit of sugar with a side of real, whole grain toast.

For one, I'm literally deathly allergic to fish, seafood, and shellfish. For two, beef isn't really all that healthy for you, not like chicken, pork, and turkey.

I think McDonald's, hands down, has the best flavored coffee. I don't do sugar free with anything, though. I'm not a fan of artificial sweeteners.

The BMI scale is stupid. It was made up by insurance companies. Seriously. It's not medically based at all, and there's nothing healthy or scientific about it.

My dr gave me one cheat day each week. With guidelines. The idea isn't to go completely haywire and wreck everything. So I chose Saturdays, which are generally pretty busy for me and keep me away from the kitchen. I haven't set any actual numbered goals yet. I saw a weight management doctor for the first time yesterday. We talked for an hour and in the end just adjusted my diet proportionately for weight loss. She said we'd talk numbers later. But yeah, I have a lot I need to take off.
