you can log an estimate for record keeping sake, but i wouldn't use the cal's as addition to my normal allotment when i'm trying to lose. thats just me.

I think some people do it. I've tracked quite a while a couple different times and I find i have a good idea on somethings regarding calorie content but others, i'd screw up. weighing your food and counting sometimes lets you eat more if your being to conservative. Pros and Cons.

you can validate you home scale by putting something that is a known weight on it and see how it shakes out. On a second note, it doesn't really matter which number you use. select one and keep tract and trend your weight to see that it is going in the right direction. weight is just a number, nothing magical about it.…

Welcome! have you set up your calorie goals and do you have a calorie range to eat? MFP is about logging your food intake, whether you are losing, maintaining or gaining...but it all starts there. what are your plans? :)

its really hard to answer that. there are many variables in each of those in terms of toppings that could impact the overall calorie range of each. the best thing you may do is just add each with all the toppings you'd get into your diary and see how they shake out. there is also a recipe builder where could build these…

Cardio makes your booty small. i also recommend lots of cardio. run to mcdonalds and have your frappe and you may not have as much loose weight. ;)

from an old guy... stay "pretty lean" because as you age, it gets harder to lean down. stay the course on your exercise. settle that now. its just life and how it rolls...i will exercise. that too gets hard to embark on as you age. so much easier to get that 10 pounds off than to get the 30, 40 or 50. :) Best Wishes!
