Just realized that today is my "official" 2 year Runniversary. It was the first day that I ran 5 miles without having to do intervals.

@7lenny7 Awesome race report! Ugh, you brought some not so fun flashbacks from October for me with that mud. Awesome running and, again, awesome RR!

One of these years I'll wise up and get a snow blower, but that year is not this year.

Awesome! Kind of jealous that you got your first ultra of the year in already. Keep up the awesome running!

Just did an hour of Minnesota constraining with the 8in (20cm) of snow we got. I think I'll be wimpy and get my 3 hour run in on the road instead of trail later today

Just keep at it and keep intensity real low, the exercise will help with general health and it will help you keep your mind in the game too. You got this!
-
my RHR went up while I was sick. It's finally back down to normal for me, now that I'm better. Keep doing what you can and keep going. Training wile unwell is HARD. Sometimes it's better to rest. I missed like 14 training days in my marathon cycle last year and still made it to the starting line. You can do this!

That's me and the Lemonades. I thought the S'mores were just ok. Didnt get any this year... only bought 7 boxes total
-
I'm my own biggest critic and for me, training is work and the race is the reward... my demented mind tells me I don't deserve the race if I don't nail my workouts....LOL.... it's the only place I'm a perfectionist in life.....
-
If I have something to eat within like 15-20 minutes after I run, I don't seem to get them. Then I have my normal breakfast like an hour or so later.

Ao, with thia race she was hoping to get a shot at the 50k nationals. That didnt happen.
-
I have no clue. It was a really messed up day I guess, so she's still not sure if she placed because of the craziness with all the DNFs and stuff. This is going off my very limited knowledge of elite ultrarunning..... all my experience is back of the pack ultrarunning
-
7 hours. A bunch of the elites dropped out including Proctor
-
Results arent live that I can find and I havent heard from her yet.
-
BIG TIME canadian ultra runner, like 500k in 72 hours at the Across the Years in AZ around New Years
-
Yeah. It's really not bad weather for it. If theres a decent base under the fresh snow, its not bad at all. Now she just to not try to keep up with Dave Proctor.
-
I'm pretty sure it's based on time. The snow could be an issue but she has no problem with the temperature.
