Are you using the cream for just one bowl? If so then yes, it's definitely a heavy calorie meal.

Not if you don't get flavor. It's just milk.
-
Honestly I don't eat them back because of the fact that the calories burned tend to be inaccurate. The only time I've ever done that is by accident because I just ate/drank too much that day.

I second the "ignore what brand to get" posts as well as not changing the way you run. I'm a mid-foot/toe striker. It's just the way I run and there's no reason why I should change it. You shouldn't have to "break in" running shoes. Honestly the best advice anyone has ever given me is to get a gait analysis done and get…

Honestly I would take more time off until you're 100%. The last thing you want to do, like you said, is pick something up again. Your body is telling you to rest. I'd listen to it.

I've brought coffee back when they put too much milk in it. Usually I can see how much they put in and when I ask for "just a splash" that's exactly what I get. I started doing the same when I get iced coffee out. I have found places like D&D puts waaaaay too much milk -- and ice for that matter so I always ask for "light…

Whatever time is convenient for you and what you will stick to. I get up early in the morning to hit the gym to lift and in the afternoon I do my cardio at home. For me if I don't get up early to go to the gym I'm not going to go.

But it wouldn't. You're stating that you're adding "tons of calories" to your food by using one tablespoon of olive oil which is a whopping 120 calories. How is that any different then say eating "a few chips" or "a few crackers" here and there? I'm pretty sure no one who uses the stuff thinks it's devoid of calories.

If you're hurting doing the 30 Day Shred (which I'm not exactly familiar with but I'm assuming there's a lot of jumping involved) and NOT when you do any other exercise I personally would stop doing it. I screwed up my foot from all the jumping around when I did Insanity. That was over 4 years ago and I still can't run and…

Try it and see what happens. If it seems like it's too much then cut back a bit. It really is all about trial and error and finding what works for you.
-
I second this. That's why it irks me when I see posts on this forum that says "I saw someone at the gym lifting weights and I wanted to go over there and tell them that they need to lift HEAVY to get RESULTS!" Um, perhaps they were??
-
You're obviously missing the point and apparently the rest of my post.

Actually you need to be careful with olive oil from places like Italy and Spain. They're controlled by a mafia and the "extra virgin olive oil" that you get may, in fact, be mixed with a sub-par oil or have just a little bit of extra virgin in it. Locally produced olive oil from small farms is more than likely the…

Sure, if you're putting a cup of oil on your food per day. Using it to saute, as a dressing, drizzled on your vegetables isn't going to harm you. I use it daily and haven't become obese because of it. It's like anything you eat: moderation is key. Heck you can get fat eating vegetables.

It's pretty normal for you to have a negative reaction when you start using probiotics because you're introducing bacteria into your body. I take both pre and pro biotics on a daily basis and don't have any issues.

For me it's 40F and below in the winter. I don't even like walking out to the car to go to the gym when it's cold.

"Gastroesophageal reflux disease, or GERD, is a digestive disorder that affects the lower esophageal sphincter (LES), the ring of muscle between the esophagus and stomach."
-
I did it. I ended up screwing up one of my feet from all the jumping around.
-
Water saute? That sounds kind of . . . sad and flavorless.
-
I add vegetables like peas, tomatoes, feta cheese, chicken sausage . . . lots of things to bulk it up and it's still a pretty low-cal and filling meal.

It's popular because it's good for you. Olive oil -- the extra virgin kind, not the "light" -- protects LDL particles from oxidative damage – a key step in the heart disease process. It's high in monounsaturated fats which can lower your risk for heart disease. I use it all the time for cooking, baking when the recipe…

When I am consistent with my exercise I absolutely loath rest days. I've added the weekends in for lifting so now I'll be hitting the gym for that 7 days and I'm adding cardio in on Wednesdays so that I'll be doing that 5 (or 6 days depending if I'm feeling lazy on Saturdays) a week. When I get in a groove I find it hard…

How do you know your calorie burn is actually accurate? That is the whole reason why I don't eat back my exercise calories.
-
Nope.
-
The ice cream I make myself is way better than B&J.
-
You can increase the amount of cardio you're doing IF you're going to actually stick to it and not feel like it's a chore and something you have to do.
-
Why, because it doesn't contain milk? There's nothing wrong with drinking cows milk.
-
It's mostly water so yeah, I could see how the calories aren't that high. It's one of my favorite "spaghetti" dishes.
-
How about just weighing your food instead so that you have a more accurate idea of how many calories you consumed? I for one am not going to "go for an extra walk" every time I log something and shoot on the high side. I'd be walking for 8 hours a day if I did that.

You might need to go to a podiatrist. My husband had it and had to get cortisone shots a couple of times for the pain. It took him well over a year for it to heal and it still flares up every now and then.
