Huh. I didn't know there was a dress code for those over the age of 21. Is it in a "Life Handbook" some where? As a 41 year old who wears shorts that have words on the butt as well as short skirts, dresses, leggings and a lot of other "young clothes" I must be breaking some sort of "rule".

Yeah, sorry but unless I know that the chemicals are on point and that it's being maintained I tend to stay away. There's nothing worse than catching a nasty infection (BV, UTI, yeast infection etc) from one of those things.

I get skeeved out by public hot tubs because I don't know how they are taking care of them. We have a hot tub and you better believe that with just my husband and I it takes a lot to keep the chemicals balanced. I do like a good steam and sauna though. (ETA: I have never gone into a steam or a sauna with clothes on. It…

I lift every day. I work one muscle group a day and do abs and legs every other day. Nothing wrong with lifting every day.
-
I was never in love with oreo cookies. Honestly never could understand what the hype was about. I'm pretty sure if I were to take a bit of one now it'd end up in the trash.
-
That right there is your problem and the reason you're getting yeast infections. I don't know if the cotton you're wearing is underwear beneath whatever your workout attire is but, as the saying goes "Cotton is Rotten". Definitely invest in a pair of good, moisture wicking bike shorts and try to go commando. I personally…

I have an underactive thyroid. I'm on a low dose of Armour. I don't do anything special. I eat at a deficit and exercise daily.
-
I'll be honest. I had a cucumber last week and I live in a cold area. I wonder what cataclysmic damage I've done to myself.
-
The veggies are being blended which keeps the pulp and the fiber. There is absolutely nothing wrong with eating cold/raw vegetables And cucumbers should only be eaten in hot months? LMAO! Seriously, where in the world did you get this (mis)information?
-
If it gets you to eat your veggies then I don't see the problem with it.
-
And the birth control pill.
-
5'2" wanting to get to 108 for right now. I lift weights 7 days a week for 60-75 minutes, eat at a deficit and do cardio 4 to 5 days a week for 45-55 minutes.
-
I don't understand why this is so hard to comprehend. Not all women like to lift weights and they shouldn't be demonized for it.
-
Or . . .. there are women out there who just aren't interested in lifting. Believe it or not they exist and it has nothing to do with not wanting to "get bulky" (which before you even jump on me I know women can't bulk up without help) but rather it just doesn't interest them. Oh, and as for the 80% that do cadio/abs: they…

Unequivocally NO. Don't bring your germs to the gym to infect those around you no matter how "well" you're now feeling. Seriously. I can't tell you how disgusted I get when I see people coughing, sneezing, hacking away into their hands and then they're touching the equipment. Or worse yet, they're just coughing/sneezing…

Why does it really matter? If counting steps gets someone up and moving then how is that a bad thing? I know people who got fit-bits and they make up mini challenges for each other and it gets the motivated to actually move outside of what they would normally do. And in the grand scheme of things, how does it really effect…

Who knew there was a difference between "joggers" and "runners". I'm guessing the "joggers" are the "fakers"?
-
Again, just regular old stock. I make it all the time. No magical properties to it but it does add flavor to a lot of things. I suppose calling it "bone broth" instead of "stock" makes it seem more fancy and cool?
-
*shrugs* To each their own. I lift and I like it but I know plenty of people who don't lift because they don't like it or do it because the all mighty THEY said that's what they have to do. Everyone needs to find something that they're going to stick with. If lifting isn't something that one is enthused about then why…

I've made about half a dozen juices and I'm still trying to figure out where this "mess" is that people talk about. Sure, there's pulp in the catcher but that just gets dumped down the garbage disposal. As for the "messy prep" it's no different than cutting up stuff to put in a salad or something like that. *shrugs* maybe…

That doesn't mean YOU have to pour gobs of it on your stuff.

I wonder if you can ask the mods to move it?

A friend let me borrow his juicer a few years ago and I just started using it. I've made a handful of juices with it -- found an awesome website that has recipes: https://juicerecipes.com/ and there's also one for smoothies -- and they have been delicious. I'll alternate between making juice and smoothies for breakfast. I…

Nope, sorry. Not going to give up my milk, cheese, yogurt, cottage cheese. . . .I drink raw milk which is much better for you than the pasteurized, homogenized crap you get in the store.
-
Isn't that just stock?
-
Or . . . . they just think it's boring. Not everyone likes to lift weights. It's not the "end all be all" of exercise. The OP should do something that they enjoy doing and what they will stick to because they want to do it, not because some online community says they have to.
-
Because not everyone likes to lift? And like someone else said perhaps they're doing their lifting elsewhere. Just because you don't see someone doing it doesn't mean they're not.
-
If you hate it then do something you like. Not everyone likes to lift.
-
Just figure out how much you want to make a serving -- for example 1 cup -- measure it out and count how many servings it makes.

You mean a RUNNING store like FleetFeet or something similar, right?
