I waited and waited and waited for Mrs. to potty train my first daughter. She did not. I did. I waited and waited for Mrs. to potty train my second daughter. She did not. I did. I thought about waiting for Mrs to potty train my third daughter. Fuggetaboutit, I said. I did. In order of sequence, their ages were 3.5, 2.5,…

No. You don't 'ruin' your life with one cheat day. You can prevent yourself from losing weight in a week if you go crazy for one day, but that's not what most people with any self-control do. Are you doing keto on your own initiative or is this something a doctor recommended to you?

Whether you dip a foot in an inch of Epsom salted water or luxuriate in 200 gallons of it, the point is that the magnesium is readily absorbed through your skin. It is effective.

The magic happens in your head. You knew that. Thanks for the update!

The most recent complete meal I cooked was lunch. It consisted of 150 grams American Waygu ground beef, browned, with 85 grams chopped broccoli, steamed.

Table push-aways. There is no exercise to forcibly get rid of excess abdominal fat. Get thee into a calorie deficit of -500 calories per day. Stay there. You should be able to lose 10-15 lb by August.

And then when you stay inside and watch your tv, the McD, DQ, KFC, and pizza ads assail you mercilessly. You just have to take control of your own emotions. Learn how to distract your thoughts to something more pleasant. You'll be ok.

The first time I got close to my weight goal, I also got mentally off kilter due to my prior expectations. Then I gained a lot of weight before getting my head straight again. This time, I'm not trying to get to a weight. I'm trying to be the healthy person. My goal isn't a distant number. Rather my goal is right now.…

Remember to weigh the water you use. When I started trying to make stuff I paid attention to the calories I was putting in, then neglected to count the mass.

I'm going back to my youthhood (no red line, wow) and re-reading Vol 2 of Will Durant's Story of Civilization. I first read it back after my 10th grade World History teacher introduced us to Vol VII, The Age of Reason Begins. I'm consistently struck with being reminded how great fools our fellow people are today.

Quit reading articles. Eat what you like. Log your food accurately. Log your exercise accurately. Stay within your calorie budget. Record your data. Make adjustments as rationally justified with good data.

OP, fun = gain weight. Always. It'll be gone soon, so don't stress about it.

The nearby NHL team is the Stars. Mine? I don't know the names or skills of the players. They won the first game of their series with the Nashville team yesterday.

What kind of engineer are you?

I do 2 meals a day, so my breakfast is mostly just "burrito fillings" without the tortilla. My evening meals can be meats, sausages, etc with green beans or a packaged "broccoli slaw" with bleu cheese dressing. Then there are those days such as yesterday when I eat all day and don't log. I don't recommend.

Reminds me of stories a friend tells me of his time in the area of Los Angeles, CA. He's met all the brightest stars of Hollywood, driven their rides. He worked valet parking at a nice restaurant. Another of my friends, here in DFW, who has met Chuck Norris and all the guest stars of Walker. He worked security for the film…

It's odd to try to think of yogurt as a necro thread. I do not expect to make any yogurt while trying to do keto. Before this stage, I consumed yogurt often and made my own using powdered milk, tap water, and a crock pot.

@PhilLanides You just do you. Exactly. Do the best you possible, and she'll eventually figure out that when people do the best them, they are the happiest.
