  • Let me know if "blessing" is still the word you use to describe them when they are teenagers LOL!
  • These are great questions! Good idea to leave myself the calories to use for my sweet fix every day, cuz I know it's going to happen. I also have to up my exercise so I have more calories to work with.
  • I eat a chocolate bar almost every day, and I snack regularly at night on sweets. I rarely hit my calorie goal and as a result have lost almost no weight. I have NO willpower and don't know how to fix it.
  • All such good advice above. I find myself slipping up on the eating part often, I am an emotional eater and also suffer from clinical depression. But I try to be as honest as I can in logging what I eat, and also remember, every day is a new day and a new chance to succeed! :)
  • He is allergic to soy as well :( Thanks cryptobrit I may try your recipe, also shinycrazy that sounds good too!
  • My last month has been dismal thanks to illness and not being able to exercise. We can do this, just gotta have one good day and then another, and another and pretty soon it's a habit again! Good luck :)
  • Sorry this might be obvious to some, but your caption says "make in skillet until brown". How exactly do you make it? is the egg and cheese mixed in with the cauliflower? Do you need to brown it in any oil or butter? It looks awesome and I'd love to try it.
  • ^^ This is how it is for me, denying myself in order to lose faster doesn't seem to be working for me, so I've reset my calories to 1400 in the hopes that this allows me to feel satisfied with my food intake and not go crazy and binge because "I'm over my daily allowance anyway".
  • I started at exactly the same weight, 152, and my goal weight is 135. I'm 5'4 and 48 years old. Trying to lose this weight is hard because most of my life I've been able to eat what I wanted with no consequences. Middle-age has changed that LOL! I tend towards almost binge-eating sometimes in the evenings lately which has…
  • I am not in maintenance yet but I read this thread and I have some questions about acronyms used here. What are BMR and TDEE?
  • I can't seem to have just a little, I'm like a junkie when it comes to sweets. I seem to have to cut them out entirely and re-focus my energies on going for a walk, doing household chores, etc. when the cravings hit. If I start to give in and have little treats here and there, they become more and more frequent until I'm…
  • You definitely can! Great idea, having a pair of goal pants. I need to do this.
  • Sounds like you are doing all you can, I hope you reach your goal! Just putting it out there though, there ARE bathing suits that are not bikinis that are still super-sexy. One pieces with a plunging neckline, high-waisted retro-style 2 pieces, etc. Those can be very hot! Just sayin' :)
  • Hi Sarah, I think you're in the right place! I find this site just awesome (just joined last week). I agree with the poster above who said don't overthink it, just stay within the calorie goal set for you and the pounds WILL come off! Good for you and best of luck :)
