I'm mid range healthy weight for my height and would like to get rid of more fat (most of it is in my thighs). Then I will focus on building muscle I suppose..
-
Me too. I'm mildly hungry a fair bit of the day...

I was naturally slim as a teen. About 68-70kgs and 6ft.. I started smoking and went down to low 60s. I then had a car accident and ended up at 43kgs from not eating for 6 weeks. It took me a long time to regain and I had to eat a lot to put on weight. People called me anorexic, flat *kitten*, told me to go eat a…

I love boxing.

I'm.having a binge today, my sister is coming over so we will be having cakes a plenty. I'll have to just eat less tonight and tomorrow and exercise a bit more...get the old skipping rope out when the babies are in bed!!

There are studies that the types of gut microbes you have play a big role in why some people exercise and cut calories but don't lose weight at a reasonable rate.

Coffee!!
-
I used to eat like double to triple my current calories and pooped every 2 or 3 days! Now I eat 1200 and poop every 3-4... Think my digestion system is different to others...no matter what my diet I've always pooped less lol

Oh yet I've cut down on sugar massively...used to be a major biscuit fiend...so maybe that's helped.. I never had sugar in my coffee but I have a half a teaspoon now just to abate my sugar cravings...

Oh well, I'll work on the muscle toning after I've lost some more weight then.

Don't know if it's a coincidence but since using a hypnotherapy weight loss recording I downloaded from YouTube, I have found it a lot easier to resist overeating. Could also be seeing the scales drop and compliments at the gym spurting me on, but if you can try it maybe it will be worth it?!

Can test I mean.
-
My naturopath at the holistic Doctors I go to has this machine, can't think of the name, but it can't test for muscle mass and fat, she also tests for hydration levels. Not sure of the accuracy but it would appear I'm losing fat but still slightly gaining muscle over the past 7 weeks.

* heap of selfies, not heal...

Slim not stick thin not curvy but you got boobs so that's curvy? Also who cares...your obviously confident enough to take a heal of selfies so who cares what they define it as? Just words...

I love gym classes, they're fun and they keep you accountable, you can't just take it easy like you might on the treadmill if you didn't feel that motivated.. they also generally work all areas of your body. I love boxing class...our instructor is an actual boxer and by god he' is tough and strict! But you feel so great…

Lost 6.5 kgs in 6 weeks. 1200 cal a day plus 1hr gym (weights/cardio) or classes (eg. Boxing).
-
Great...I'm losing 1kg a week..
-
Read a study it only kicks in at very low calories (like 300 a day).. and even then the effect isn't so great that you won't lose weight! I mean at 300 calories your gonna lose a lot of weight!!
-
Make sure you do weight training on the 1200 cal diet..and make a good amount of the 1200 protein...preserve your muscle.
-
I'm 6ft, 75 kgs and on 1200 a day.. I'm a stay at home mum who goes to the gym or aerobics classes for atleasr an hour 7 days a week. I've chose sedentary but probably lightly active and then add exercise calories in which I try not to eat back.1200 is tough at first but with the help of coffee lol I've steadily lost 1kg…

I had my 1st baby a year ago, (I gained 20kgs from overeating and hardly exercising!!) then fell pregnant with my 2nd 6 weeks later!! I was going hard at the gym, and not losing much weight, I actually didn't find out I was pregnant til 13wks. Anyway I went to the gym and hour a day all throughout pregnancy even Labour…

Oh and I've been losing a kg a week... That's what motivates me to stay on track...as well as compliments from people at the gym..
-
I'm on 1200 too and go to the gym or aerobics class an hour plus a day...at first I was soo hungry...particularly for sugar...but I pushed through and it's easier now. What does help is coffee...I drink like 6 cups or more a day, not great lol but it's just short term...

I just had mine checked and it says 21%...(think it's recommended 21% to 33% or something?) which I find very hard to believe, wondering if they're always that correct...

Wow half is a pretty big discrepency! I use the gym equipment to give me an estimate for most things but have been using mfp for my walk, so I'll cut that in half. I also don't put in calories burnt for the weights I do at the gym, 1. Because I have no idea what it would be, and 2. As it gives me a bit of a buffer, how…

I concur with prior recommendations but would just like to say.. wow I don't k ow how anyone could NOT feel hungry on that diet! The mind boggles...
